'Elle' Boss Scolds Olivia on 'The City' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Jun 2nd 2010 5:00AM
No one tells Olivia Palermo what to do -- or what to wear. On 'The City' (Tue., 10:30PM ET on MTV), Olivia defied her boss at 'Elle' magazine, refusing to wear some assigned designer duds to a magazine event."My name is on an invitation to host a party for 'Elle' magazine," boss Joe Zee said to Olivia and coworker Erin Kaplan. "I just expected that both of you would show up, support me, support the magazine, but also support the designer."
In a patronizing tone, Olivia responded, "Oh, Joe," and appeared to be stifling a laugh. "I just want you to know how serious this situation is," said Joe. "Mm, yeah," she said with a smirk.

Ugly Betty: Jump (season finale)
by Erin Martell, posted May 22nd 2008 11:45PM

(S02E18) After all the hype surrounding the Lindsay Lohan appearance, I was expecting more than a brief flashback that explained Betty's hatred of sports. Even the little French kid had more screen time! It would be one thing if Lohan was introduced briefly midseason and continued to make appearances; that would have made sense. Introducing her for thirty seconds before the season's end was a strange choice. I look forward to seeing how they reintroduce Kimberly in the Ugly Betty present, but I wish they had waited until next season's premiere to bring her in.
