Joshua Jackson Talks Gross Mysteries and Peter Not Falling for Olivia on 'Fringe' - VIDEO
by Maggie Furlong, posted Nov 19th 2009 6:00PM
According to 'Fringe' star Joshua Jackson, we haven't seen the grossest thing the show has to offer just yet. Exploding heads and old man babies are nothing -- just wait until you get a load of the nematodes, which Jackson admits "just made me want to vomit." And that's not the only thing we have to look forward to with the rest of this season. There's also the big Observer episode (Thurs., Nov. 19, 9PM ET on Fox), which investigates the origins of the show's mysterious bald onlooker and his ilk, where Jackson promises "we come to know them well."
But, of course, the show isn't all just mysteries, gross-outs and creepy hairless men -- there's also the family-like relationship between Jackson's Peter Bishop, his father Walter Bishop (John Noble) and Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv).
So is Jackson surprised that fans are so vocal about not wanting to see Peter and Olivia together? "No ... If it goes in that direction -- if something naturally comes out of it -- then I'd be fine with that. But I just hate it when you just slam the characters together because they're 'supposed' to be together." We couldn't agree more.

The Show Girl Talks to Simon Baker, Joshua Jackson and Ben McKenzie - VIDEO
by Maggie Furlong, posted Nov 13th 2009 4:00PM
You've got questions? I've got answers. I'm The Show Girl! This week, I sit down and get personal with 'The Mentalist' star Simon Baker in a very special interview, even getting him to answer a fan question from the live audience, and open up about being a dad.
And, for you 'Fringe' fans out there, I have scoop straight from Joshua Jackson on everyone's favorite bald man of mystery, The Observer. (Don't you want to know why he puts Tobasco on everything?) I also get 'Southland' star Ben McKenzie to promise he'll finally get on Twitter ... if fans of his do one little thing.
Want more? Email me TV questions at TheTVShowGirl@aol.com -- who knows, I might just give you an answer on the show. Now watch, enjoy and come back next week for more. Until then, happy TV watching! -- By Maggie Furlong
Fringe - Comic-Con Report
by Keith McDuffee, posted Jul 28th 2008 5:18PM

By the time the Fringe panel started, I wasn't the only one who was exhausted. This was one of the final television panels of the day, with the exception, I believe, of MythBusters -- a panel I regret having to miss but, since I literally hadn't eaten anything but two Clif Bars all day, I had no choice. Otherwise you would have heard about the guy who passed out in Room 6B.
Since I'd already seen the Fringe pilot, I considered not attending the panel. I think a lot of people felt the same way, as Ballroom 20 wasn't even full for it. I'm glad I did attend, however, because it was interesting to hear what people wanted to ask of J. J. Abrams.
