'Dollhouse' Finale: Paul Ballard Dies, World Gets Reset (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 1st 2010 5:45AM
In his review over at TV Squad, Brad Trechak called the series finale of Joss Whedon's 'Dollhouse' (Fri., 8PM ET on Fox) "weird" and "rushed." "Overall, the series wasn't as good as his previous attempts, but still much better than 99% of the other crap on television," writes Trechak.
It's too bad that the series was canceled before it really had a chance to gain some steam. Sometimes Whedon's projects do take a bit of time to gain traction with viewers. What did you think of the series finale of 'Dollhouse'?

More on Joss Whedon's 'insane' coda to Dollhouse season one
by Mike Moody, posted Jul 10th 2009 1:28PM
Maybe Fox's decision not to air "Epitaph One," the final episode of Dollhouse's first season, was a good one. Good for Fox, I mean. The unaired ep, which will show up on the first season DVD/Bu-ray sets and screen at Comic-Con, is bringing a lot of attention to the Joss Whedon show this summer. Judging by the reaction to a clip released earlier this week, I'm sure Fox won't have any trouble moving those DVDs.
The clip, our first bit of WhedonCrack in months, featured a dazed and confused Dr. Saunders/Whiskey surrounded by a group of armed rebels in what appears to be the future. Is it a dream? Is it a flash forward? We'll have to wait for the DVD to drop July 28 to find out.
'Dollhouse' Interview With Eliza Dushku
by Maggie Furlong, posted Feb 13th 2009 6:00AM
"The characters and the action and the possibilities and the mystery and the humor -- everything about it -- and, you know, it's kind of sexy too." [Laughs] She's your best friend, your lover, a hired assassin, a sexy stranger -- this might sound like your fantasies of Eliza Dushku, but it's also the premise of her new Fox show, 'Dollhouse.'
As Echo, an "active" at a secret agency called the Dollhouse, Dushku gets to transform from week to week based on her latest job assignment. From the mind of creator Joss Whedon -- the man behind cult favorites 'Buffy, the Vampire Slayer,' 'Angel,' 'Firefly' and last summer's Internet hit, 'Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog' -- fans can expect a healthy dose of action and plenty of subtext to unravel.
Dushku, who also acts as producer on the show, chatted with AOL TV about playing tough, relaxing at work and her new faceless action figure ... and she also reveals which other star of an old Whedon show will be stopping by and cleared up some dating rumors, all while reminiscing about old times with Arnold. -- By Maggie Furlong
