Defendant Goofs Up Simple Math Question on 'Judge Joe Brown' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 2nd 2010 7:40PM
Judge Joe BrownYou know, if you can't figure out the simplest math question, it just makes it worse when you say, "I'm not stupid." Because clearly, you are, and saying that only makes you seem more stupid.

But the defendant on 'Judge Joe Brown' (weekdays, syndicated) probably doesn't get it and never will. It makes it all worthwhile, though, to see Judge Brown lose it in a fit of laughter.

Woman Moons Son-in-Law on 'Judge Alex' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 2nd 2010 7:10PM
Judge Alex, woman moons son-in-lawWhere on earth do they get the people who show up on these judge shows? It doesn't matter if it's 'Judge Judy,' 'Judge Joe Brown,' or the subject of this particular video, 'Judge Alex' (weekdays, syndicated). Most of the folks who appear before the judges are just plain crazy.

A plaintiff provided videotape of his mother-in-law mooning him – twice – on the roadside. She threw in some cursing to kick things up a notch. There are just so many things wrong with this, not the least of which is the woman wasn't wearing any underwear. That's just wrong.

Judge Judy's show sued, accused of racial screening

by Bob Sassone, posted Jan 2nd 2008 3:42PM

Judge JudyDid you know that there is a total of 397 "judge" shows on TV right now? Just turn on your TV at any point during the morning or afternoon and you're bound to catch one. And now one of them, Judge Judy, is being sued by a former producer on the show.

Jonathan Sebastien, who was a producer on Judge Judy for seven years, says he was fired from the show not because ratings were down (the official reason) but because he opposed the racial screening that occurs on the show. Sebastien says that the show's supervisor, Randy Douthit, told him that he didn't want to do "anymore black shows" or have "black people arguing" or hear "black language on TV." Sebastien says that he got cases that involved black people and they were turned down.

Parties being sued are Douthit, Paramount, CBS, and Big Ticket Television.
