She was noticeably hoarse during the interview, which she explained was because of Fallon's Emmys after-party. "Jimmy threw truly the best party I've ever been to," she said of the star-studded affair.

Margulies actually had intended to cut out early, for work the next day, but decided she needed to stay after seeing new moms Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Maya Rudolph dancing on a table with Fallon. It was that kind of party.

Julianna Margulies: 'Good Wife' Premiere Sex Scene Too Hot for Hubby (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 2nd 2011 4:55AM
Julianna Margulies, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Julianna Margulies certainly got David Letterman's attention when she started talking about the season premiere of 'The Good Wife' on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS). It was her use of the word 'steamy' twice in describing one scene in particular.

"I'm inclined to believe you that it's steamy," he said. "I guess I don't know what steamy is. Nudity?"

"Semi-nudity," she said. "You can't do full frontal nudity."

But Letterman tried to get out of her just how much we were going to see, and all Margulies would confirm was a lot of thigh. She did say, though, that it's the first time she's been a little concerned about her husband watching her on television.

Watch Julianna Margulies in a McDonald's Commercial From 1991 (VIDEO)

by Chris Harnick, posted Aug 17th 2011 12:30PM
Julianna MarguliesBefore she was 'The Good Wife,' and even before she was an Emmy-winning 'ER' nurse, Julianna Margulies was an enthusiastic McDonald's patron. Well, in a commercial at least.

In this hilariously early 1990s commercial found by The Insider, Margulies shills for Mac Jr., a smaller Big Mac. She just wants a Big Mac that fits her appetite at a reasonable price, you guys.

Margulies pals around with two other actresses clad in oh-so-bright simple colors, seemingly pleased with their Mac Jr. for 99 cents.

'The Good Wife Star' isn't the only one who got her start in commercials. Tina Fey's 1995 bank commercial recently surfaced, proving she's pretty much Liz Lemon. Watch Margulies' commercial below, plus check out a few others featuring stars before they hit it big!

'The Good Wife' Season 3 Gets Another Sultry Poster

by Chris Harnick, posted Aug 11th 2011 4:00PM
The Good WifeOne thing CBS has made quite clear about 'The Good Wife' Season 3 is this: There's a new sultry Alicia Florrick in town.

Yep, as if the first "Don't let the name fool you." poster wasn't enough, CBS has rolled out another new sexy 'Good Wife' Season 3 poster.

This new ad features Julianna Margulies clad in a black dress, shoes to the side, curled up in a chair and staring directly into the camera. It's a far cry from the Season 1 key art that had the actress standing by her man, touching her wedding ring.

Season 3 will also see a new pairing: Eli and Kalinda. According to TVLine, now that Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) has an office at Lockhart/Gardner, he'll be using Kalinda's (Archie Panjabi) investigator services from time to time.

"What's fun about the show is you get to mix different relationship cocktails," Robert King, 'Good Wife' co-creator and executive producers, said. "And there just seemed to be something right about Archie and Alan and the way that they would be drawn together."

Check out a full version of the new Season 3 poster below.

'The Good Wife' Season 3: See the Steamy New Poster

by Chris Harnick, posted Aug 2nd 2011 2:30PM
The Good Wife Season 3When 'The Good Wife' returns for a third season, viewers can expect things to be a bit more spicy -- at least that's what CBS's new promo art will have us believe.

In the Season 3 poster, Julianna Margulies appears in a black lace top, her hands tousling her always perfect hair. "Don't let the name fool you," the poster reads. Looks like 'The Good Wife' is courting a different audience for its move to Sundays at 9PM.

This fall, the series is going up against football, ABC's soapy 'Desperate Housewives' and Fox's male-skewing 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad.'

With the strong female audience already attached to 'Desperate Housewives' and men divided between football and the animated comedies, it looks like 'The Good Wife' will not be content with sitting on the sidelines, waiting for viewers to find it in its new timeslot.

Check out the new poster below.

Emmy RoundtableJulianna Margulies, Connie Britton, Christina Hendricks, Regina King, Melissa Leo, Katey Sagal and Kelly MacDonald walk into a room ... no, this isn't the setup of a lame joke, it's what happened at the Hollywood Reporter's Emmy Roundtable.

These seven talented ladies -- all of them Emmy contenders -- gathered to discuss all things TV.

In the clip below, the women talk about the difference between film and TV work, and why working in TV is easier when you have a family.

"I like them both," Margulies said. "I don't not want to have my kid and I don't not want to have my job, so you make it work. And you sleep when you're dead."
