Shia LaBeouf Talks Meeting Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, Separately (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jul 1st 2011 4:16AM
Shia LaBeouf, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'Selena Gomez may be dating Justin Bieber, but that doesn't mean she still can't hold that crush for Shia LaBeouf. So she was more than surprised when he surprised her backstage one day, and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) had the footage.

LaBeouf was on, and seemed again touched by seeing how genuinely excited and shocked she was when she saw him sitting there. She was so stunned, she literally turned around and walked away, making him chase her down before they talked.

When Kimmel asked if LaBeouf was worried at all about Bieber, LaBeouf talked about when they met at the MTV Movie Awards. Bieber may not be a Transformer, as Kimmel described, but based on LaBeouf's story, we think he might have some Jedi powers.

Willow Smith & Jaden Smith, '2011 BET Awards'Chris Brown was the big winner of the '2011 BET Awards' (Sun., 8PM ET on BET), nabbing four awards. But he almost didn't get one of them!

Okay, he would have gotten it anyway, but things got a little crazy when a fan contest winner attempted to announce the winner of the Coca-Cola Viewer's Choice. Tiffany Green initially announced Chris Brown as the winner, but then corrected herself to say it was Rihanna.

Then, to make matters worse, it was announced Drake had won, and he even came and accepted the award. But Green had been right the first time. If only she'd stopped talking, or the mic had gone out.

Justin Bieber Beats Elisabeth Hasselbeck in Segway Race on 'The View' (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Jun 23rd 2011 2:00PM
Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Justin Bieber in a Segway race on 'The View'Whoopi Goldberg declared Justin Bieber to be "one of the most unique and wonderful young men I think I've met ever," Thursday on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC). The panel certainly put him through a unique gamut. First, he sang his hit song 'Never Say Never,' sitting behind the desk. Then he got a leading question from Sherri Shepherd.

"You have a glow, Justin, is there a reason why?" asked Shepherd as they flashed a photo of Bieber with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez. When he started to stammer, Goldberg came to the rescue. "Say no," she said. He took her advice with a fist bump and a thank you.

Bieber and Elisabeth Hasselbeck then took to a pair of Segways for a race that took them from the desk, outside of the studio, past fans waiting to catch a glimpse of Bieber, and then back to the desk. Bieber won handily, entering the studio standing backwards on his machine. Hasselbeck had no hard feelings, and the two high-fived as she finished.

Justin Bieber Does Top 10 Little Known Facts About Himself on 'Late Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 23rd 2011 3:27AM
Justin Bieber, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Justin Bieber dropped by the Ed Sullivan theater to help with David Letterman's Top 10 list on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS), considering it was all about him. The topic was Top 10 Little Kown Facts about Justin Bieber, and the Bieb clearly had a blast pokin fun at his image.

We particularly loved the little turn of the head and smile he gave after delivering #7 on the list: "As hard as I've tried, I don't know how to not be adorable."

#5 had a great sight gag as well. After Bieber said, "I'm not really a big fan of Kevin James," the camera cut to James in the green room and he did a great sad sack expression.

Jason Bateman, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Jason Bateman and David Letterman are on opposite ends of the Justin Bieber spectrum when it comes to their young kids, though they're on opposite ends of the gender spectrum as well. Bateman talked on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS) about how his four-year old daughter is obsessed with the singer.

Meanwhile, David Letterman said he doesn't even think his seven-year old son knows who Justin Bieber is. "Now, have I done something wrong or have I done something right?" he asked Bateman.

After hearing Bateman's stories about how his daughter is "singing about these heartbreaking relationships and passionate bonds at the top of her lungs to a phantom person that's sitting next to her," we're not so sure.

Selena Gomez Talks About the Pressures of Being Young and Famous (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Jun 17th 2011 1:20PM
Selena Gomez on 'Good Morning America'Selena Gomez already had a high profile of her own, starring in Disney's 'The Wizards of Waverly Place,' working on a burgeoning film career, and touring as a singer. Add the fact that she's dating young superstar Just Bieber, and life can get a bit frantic, as she explained Friday on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM on ABC). Gomez, who turns 19 in July, said she has already wasted too much time worrying about it.

Gomez was asked how she handles all of the scrutiny. "I'm young," she said, "and I spent the first three years hiding and terrified of things like that. So I'm just sort of enjoying being young and just having fun and focusing on my fans and my music."

OMG! Justin Bieber to Guest Star on 'CSI'!

by Catherine Lawson, posted Jul 23rd 2010 7:15AM
Justin Bieber Hold onto your hats Bieberites: It's been announced that Justin Bieber will make his TV acting debut in the fall in the season premiere of 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.'

It's an interesting choice of show for the teenage pop sensation given the subject matter of 'CSI' and the fact that the show's audience is generally a lot older than Bieber's huge fan base. However, he's following in the footsteps of fellow teen superstar Taylor Swift, whose guest appearance on 'CSI' last year was generally well-received.

According to deadline.com, CBS announced that Bieber will play "Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother -- a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs." The storyline even provides the tantalizing possibility that Bieber will appear in more than one episode: "It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season."

Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Everyone Else at the 'MuchMusic Awards' (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, and Everyone Else at the 'MuchMusic Awards'Have you heard of the 'MuchMusic Awards'? If it takes a second for the name to kick in, that's because they're the Canadian music awards. So, they're like a version of the MTV Awards, except more Canada-y.

Apparently every trendy person ever was at the 'MuchMusic Awards' (Sun., 9PM ET on Fuse). Guests included Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert -- and just about anyone else that you could think of.

Katy and Miley seemed to have a bit of a competition to see who could wear a more revealing outfit. Also in attendance were Snooki and 'The Situation' from 'Jersey Shore': which was unnecessary, but then, the two of them turn up everywhere, so -- you know -- whatever.

Basically, everyone was at the show.

'Saturday Night Live' - 'Tina Fey/Justin Bieber' Recap

by Annie Wu, posted Apr 11th 2010 3:49PM
tina fey
(S35E18) Tina Fey gives hope to all nerdy funny girls out there. You may be frumpy and strange now, girls, but all you have to do is work really hard, be yourself, create/write/star in a hit show with Alec Baldwin and become super-famous. Then you will finally be able to soothe the flame of self-hate this is currently raging within you. This is the only option to escape your ugly duckling phase. Sorry if you were convinced otherwise.

All right, seriously, this was a solid episode. It felt like Fey had a strong hand in what kind of material was being produced; most of the sketches worked very well for her. This was also the first time I had heard Justin Bieber. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

The pop star took Twitter questions on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' (weeknights at 12:37AM ET on NBC), one asking, "If there were a Justin Bieber movie, who would you want to play you?"

"Play me? Probably like, Chuck Norris," Bieber said. Fallon did his best to contain his laughter and disbelief, eventually coming up with the question the world was wondering: "Would he have his beard?" Bieber naturally responded with an enthusiastic "Yeah!" Now we're waiting for Norris to make a YouTube video singing 'My World 2.0.'
