Veronica Mars: Lord of the Pi's
by Keith McDuffee, posted Nov 21st 2006 10:55PM

(S03E08) We've known about this episode for quite some time now -- the Patty Hearst episode. Thankfully she didn't really have a whole lot of air time, because she's not an actress and, well, it showed. I mean, she wasn't horrible, just not great.
Speaking of Patty Hearst (I mean, Selma Rose), there was one mini-mystery I didn't much care for other than two details from it:

(S03E07) Are folks really liking Piz's character as much as I'm reading. I'm really not sure I care for him a whole lot. I will say, though, that I loved Piz's slow turn toward Veronica at the mere mention of a missing person. But what's with Veronica's hair being all done up before she goes investigating? Did she really tell everyone to put everything on hold for 45 minutes while she threw a coat on and curled her hair?
Veronica Mars: Hi, Infidelity

(S03E06) Dean O'Dell backing up Veronica -- who would've thought? Did I miss something or does Veronica still somehow have a job with a different school paper, one that's not the Free Press? Did she somehow get out of working in the library, or is there some other on-campus paper I'm forgetting? Not the Lampoon, is it?
I have to admit that after last week's episode, some commenters had a good theory that Wallace didn't cheat and had instead written something like "so-and-so is selling answers to this test." Alas, that doesn't seem to be the case. Though I was surprised to see some leniency coming his way with the cheating. Isn't that, like, expulsion material? Not to mention he stays on the basketball team?
Veronica Mars: President Evil
by Keith McDuffee, posted Oct 31st 2006 10:51PM

(S03E05) How fricken funny was it to have Weevil up as a show-and-tell feature for her oral report? Definitely the highlight of the season, I'd have to say. And on top of all that, Weevil goes through more of Veronica's doubting and spending more time in the cozy cell at the Neptune station. What's a guy gotta do to not seem so guilty all the time?
Veronica Mars: Charlie Don't Surf
by Keith McDuffee, posted Oct 25th 2006 12:14AM

(S03E04) Before I start, I have to say that something flaked out with my DVR tonight and I lost some stuff between when Logan's sitting on a surf board with his supposed half brother, and then I pick up when Veronica confronts the guy about being a reporter -- just enough to get the gist of what happened. But obviously I missed something probably pretty significant in there and hopefully you fine commenters can help fill in the blanks there.

(S03E03) Finally, a new episode for me. Hey, it's harder than you think when you watch the first two episodes over a month ago. I feel a lot better about this season after seeing this episode. I didn't get the feeling like they were rushing us through the main mystery of this portion of the season, and instead we had a nice mini mystery thrown in.Veronica Mars: My Big Fat Greek Rush Week
by Keith McDuffee, posted Oct 10th 2006 10:30PM
(S03E02) As you can see, the writers are quickly moving along the first mystery of the season. No more episodes thrown in that have only little or nothing to do with the big mystery of the season, which I think is a little sad. Given that last week's numbers were lower than we'd like, I'm nervous. Real nervous.Veronica Mars: Happy Go Lucky

(S02E21) Can you feel it? That tension in the air like we felt last season, right before the final episode? Everything's coming together, and still we doubt our assumptions. Do we really know who's behind the bus crash? Were we really right in our guesses about Woody and his pervy ways? While I'm clearly excited to know how everything goes down next week, this is also when I'm sad to realize that everything's about to end, and we'll have another summer to wait through to see what happens next.
Veronica Mars: Look Who's Stalking
by Keith McDuffee, posted Apr 25th 2006 11:17PM
(S02E20) Earlier today I
put out the call for
new viewers to this show that this was their last chance to catch a plot-ruining-free episode this season. For the most
part I was right, though I'm not sure this was the best episode for a newcomer to see. There were a lot of inside jokes
that might have gotten lost on someone not familiar with past episodes. With that said though, we were thrown so many
new pieces of the big puzzle this week to make even fans' heads spin.Veronica Mars: Nevermind the Buttocks
by Keith McDuffee, posted Apr 18th 2006 10:54PM
(S02E19) The writers for this show really know how to
throw us through enough twists and turns to keep us guessing until the very end. I'm not sure there were nearly this
many goings on last season, though as many commenters have pointed out, the likely scenario is that someone we least
expect or know about is behind much of what's been going down.So let's quickly go through what we know from this episode...
Veronica Mars: I Am God
by Keith McDuffee, posted Apr 11th 2006 10:32PM
(S02E18) Most times when you wake up from a dream and remember most of what happened, there's a lot of
symbolism going on. You know, dreams of being late for an exam means you feel unprepared, dreams of falling means you're
insecure about something, and talking in front of class naked ... well that really
happened. Long story. This episode was filled with all sorts of dream hints and clues from Veronica's point of view, though their interpretation shouldn't be anything more than what Veronica herself has figured out on her own; these aren't ghosts she's talking to.
Veronica Mars: Plan B
by Keith McDuffee, posted Apr 5th 2006 10:47PM
After seeing tonights episode, I really think Darius and I are onto something with our theories about who's responsible for
the bus crash. However, now I'm wondering if the writers are throwing us a red herring with Beaver's curious reaction
(or lack of reaction) toward Mac. Is Beaver the one who's gay and not Dick, as Darius theorized? Beaver's real estate
dealings play a role in the Mayor's incorporation issues, so I could see him doing it just to make the Mayor's life
miserable. Maybe both Dick and Beaver are working together on something for once?Veronica Mars: Ain't No Magic Mountain High Enough
by Keith McDuffee, posted Feb 8th 2006 10:52PM
After reading the description of this episode, I wasn't
anticipating it to be a great one; it turns out it was actually a lot of fun. We see Mac back in the picture a bit,
Keith workin' the case with Terrence Cook, and Weevil getting some revenge on. Not to mention it's always good to see
Veronica win one over on the teaching staff. Again. And again.TV Squad Hot Topics
