'Happy Endings' Adds ABC Family Stars, 'All My Children' Star Joins 'Bold and the Beautiful' & More Casting News
According to TVLine, 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' star Megan Park and 'Make It or Break It' actress Nicole Gale Anderson will play a pair of high school girls who connect with Alex and Penny.
However, the young duo turn sour when Jane enters the picture.
The episode is set to air Oct. 5.
In other casting news ...
On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Pickler told DeGeneres about the ticket she got for driving 45 in a 30 MPH zone, then talked about how she hates people who drive right at the speed limit, "especially on the interstate. Oh my God, get out of my way. That brings out the inner demon in me. I'm not possessed or nothin.' The speed limit's too slow."
Getting back to her ticket, she told DeGeneres that "I had to do a sobriety test ... but I passed ..." Then as if she were possessed, Pickler jumped out of her seat as if someone were sneaking up on her. That cop, maybe? Anyhow, her surprise move got the best laugh of the whole interview.

And Frankie kicked off the show! The Idol producers dug up a 1959 video of Frankie Avalon singing "Venus," which of course, lead to the real Frankie appearing on stage to finish the number. With the exception of the dream sequence in Grease (1978) singing "Beauty School Dropout," has Frankie done anything relevant to warrant such major exposure?
Alright, results show: I haven't watched the episode yet; it just started and I have it on pause so I can make my predictions. I think the bottom three is going to be Anoop, Lil Rounds and Scott. Lil Rounds will go home. Anything else would officially shock me, but I love being shocked, so here's hoping.
We're still on the whole "year of their birth" thing, so Ryan makes a big deal about how old Simon is by showing a clip of Frankie Avalon singing in the year he was born. Then the stage opens, and Frankie Avalon himself comes out and sings. Simon looks completely surprised and amused. It's actually a really cute moment, and Frankie sounds great.
Enough of that, though; I want to find out who's going home! So let's get on with it. We've got 50 minutes of filler left before we get our answers.
Despite help from professional stylists, even 'Idol' winners like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood went for looks that gave new meaning to the phrase "hair don't."
We're counting down the 16 worst 'American Idol' hairdos ever. See all of the hair-raising moments after the jump.
Welcome back to "AI Aftermath," where we explore Idol's past. Each week, as one more American Idol hopeful is eliminated from the competition, we take a look back at contestants past who were eliminated in the same week. We'll examine how they did on the show and what they've been up to since their eliminations. In honor of Carly Smithson's elimination last week we'll be looking at other sixth place finishers.
This week: 6th place finishers, featuring featuring Christina Christian (Season One), Carmen Rasmussen (Season Two), John Stevens (Season Three), Constantine Maroulis (Season Four), Kellie Pickler (Season Five) and Phil Stacey (Season Six).

Rather than continue the tour of Idol runner-ups begun with Blake Lewis and Katharine McPhee the past two weeks, the show is sticking with Season 5 and going with Kellie Pickler. The move makes sense, as Pickler has had more commercial success than Season 4 runner-up Bo Bice. In fact, I think Season 5 has more success stories in the music biz than any other season, so maybe they'll just stay here for a bit and check in with Elliott Yamin, Bucky Covington and Chris Daughtry while they're at it.
Now, she's offering sage advice through People magazine, to this year's crop of Idol-wannabes. I'm sorry, but there's plenty of people I'd gladly take advice from, but "Pick Pickler" is hardly one of them. I still can't decide if the bumpkin idiocy is a farce, in which case she's brilliant, or real. If it's real then ... wow!
Some winners have found great success (hello, Kelly!), some have been dumped by their labels (so sorry, Ruben and Taylor), while some also-rans have gone on to bigger and better things.
We check in on 30 'AI' alums and fill you in on which ones are in trouble with the law, which are still giving it their best shot ... and which have fallen off the radar.
In just seven seasons, we've seen over a handful of performances bad enough to shut down any karaoke bar in the country -- everything from Carmen Rasmusen's 'Can't Fight the Moonlight' to Jon Peter Lewis' 'A Little Less Conversation.'
The members of Votefortheworst.com (VFTW) recently narrowed down the performances and compiled a definitive list of the top 20 guiltiest 'Idol' pleasures of them all.

What exactly is 'Chris Daughtry-itis?' Does it involve a fever and a rash? Does it cause baldness? And most importantly, is it curable?
Simon Cowell complained in this week's Entertainment Weekly that the current batch of finalists just don't want to win badly enough. And this laid-back attitude is effecting their "A Game," or creating a lack thereof.
Simon said, "I think that we suffer from Jennifer Hudson- and Chris Daughtry-itis, which is people who didn't win getting great careers and now a lot of the contestants believing it absolutely doesn't matter."
Let's just skip all the other stuff and get to it. AJ TABALDO is going home! I'm shocked. I really didn't see that coming. I would place AJ above Phil, Brandon, Jared, and definitely Sanjaya. He gave a good performance Tuesday night and received praise from all of the judges. He has a great personality to match a great voice. Yet, AJ's journey ends tonight...and Sanjaya (adorable, yet flawed) lives to sing another song.
Oh yeah, ALAINA, NICK, and LESLIE are also going home, but I'm not surprised at all. I pretty much expected that. Did I mention that I'm still in shock over AJ getting the boot?
