Kelly Bensimon Is Not Ready To Leave 'Real Housewives of New York City' (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Aug 25th 2011 2:40PM
Kelly Bensimon of 'Real Housewives of New York City' on 'Good Day New York'Kelly Bensimon sounds like she wants to continue with 'Real Housewives of New York City,' despite any rumors to the contrary. When the good folks at 'Good Day New York' (weekdays, 9AM ET on Fox) posited that she seemed ready to leave the arguing and fighting behind and become her own breakout star, Bensimon said she's finally enjoying herself.

"No, I actually had a really good time with it this year," she said. "I mean, this was my opportunity to really, really show who I am and not be in a combative situation. It was two seasons of just constantly being berated all the time."

She may have more friends on the show if she signs up for another season. She said she had been suggesting people to the producers, and that it has gotten a little out of hand. "Every cocktail party that I go to people are like, 'I'm on the show,'" she said. "'I'm going to be on the show with you.'" More people to be crazy with.

A Look Back at 'Real Housewives of NYC': What is 'Planet Kelly'?

Let's face it, this season of 'Real Housewives of New York City' was as nutty and down right bananas as a handful of trail mix.

Besides the epic fight between Jill Zarin and former-BFF Bethenny Frankel, the real star of the show was Kelly Killoren Bensimon's bizarre antics.

You probably heard of the systematic bullying she claims happened and the public service announcement she made via YouTube in response. So, what is life like on "Planet Kelly"? Let's take a look back at some 'Real Housewives of New York City' moments and ponder that question.

More Crazy Antics from 'Real Housewives' Kelly Bensimon (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Jun 25th 2010 7:45AM
Crazy Kelly Bensimon on 'Real Housewives'Kelly Bensimon has yet to convincingly defend herself against allegations that she had a mental breakdown when she and the Housewives were in St. John. On 'The Real Housewives of New York City' (Thu., 10PM ET on BRAVO), more footage of the ladies' Caribbean trip further cemented her behavior as erratic and nonsensical -- and at the very least, really annoying.

In one scene, Ramona Singer joins Kelly in the workout room and (quietly) starts lifting weights. Kelly, meanwhile, has an almost entirely one-sided conversation, discussing (among other topics): bikinis, ex-husband Gilles, the wedding caterer, her sensitive taste buds and "planet Kelly."

"I was getting really annoyed with Kelly," Ramona later admitted. "She was making no sense. She was going on and on, and I just wanted her to stop ... Sometimes she was just rambling. It just didn't make sense."

Jill and Bethenny Hug and Make Up on 'Real Housewives' (VIDEO)

Jill and Bethenny Hug and Make Up on 'Real Housewives'Well! After all the fussing, feuding and fighting, the 'Real Housewives' season ends here. And it ends with two women who seem to hate each other deciding to hug and make nice.

This is the last installment of 'The Real Housewives of New York' reunion special (Thu., 9PM ET on Bravo). Naturally, some weirdness happened. In fact, the show was so odd that it forced us to ask a bunch of important philosophical questions. Like, was what we saw before all a mirage? And what is reality, anyway?

Previously, Jill and Bethenny got into such a big fight that Jill stormed out of the room. This was followed by another Bethenny-related fight where Kelly stormed out of the room. But now, apparently, it's all good. The women suddenly decide to make up, while hanging out in their strange pink couch-filled reunion room.

Jill and Beth "hug it out," and Jill says this: "I really miss you ... it's not bullsh#t." Um, say what now? Have we been watching the same show? Don't you guys hate each other?

Now ... on to part two! Who will act insane this time around?

'The Real Housewives of New York City' Return for Season 3

by Audrey Fine, posted Mar 5th 2010 9:45AM
Real Housewives of New York City"Ramona's way too freaking old to be wearing a bikini," declares Jill Zarin, rolling her eyes. (Truer words have never been uttered.) And so begins season three of 'The Real Housewives of New York City.'

The relatively uneventful (you might even say disappointing) premiere opened on a yacht Ramona had borrowed from a friend for a day of "girls only" fun. In true 'Housewives' fashion, the event quickly evolved into an emotional roller coaster as Ramona, who, after likening her newly shorn self to a "younger Cameron Diaz," laughed, cried, yelled and pouted while the boat putted along some Hamptons' waterway.

Noticeably absent was Bethenny, who, after a major falling out with Jill over what seems to be nothing more than a misunderstanding, was busy posing naked on a Manhattan rooftop for an "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" PETA ad. "I was BFFs with Bethenny" fumed Jill "but she didn't deserve me as a friend."

They didn't get their wish.

Inside TV recently bumped into Kelly and her two daughters backstage at the Z100 Jingle Ball concert in Madison Square Garden. Bensimon revealed to us that she was there filming scenes for the show's third season finale.
