American Idol producer admits to season six mistakes
by Liz Finn-Arnold, posted Jul 24th 2007 5:41PM
A lot of viewers thought this season's American Idol gave us the weakest, blandest pool of contestants ever. It was a complaint I heard almost daily while blogging about Idol for TV Squad. Producer Nigel Lythgoe obviously heard the same complaint, and he addressed the issue directly during the TCA Press Tour, admitting that mistakes were made.
American Idol Live Chat
by Ryan j Budke, posted Feb 21st 2006 2:04PM
We tried a couple of weeks ago to get an American Idol chat going, but we didn't have too many that turned
out for the show. See, I thought that making fun of the horrible contestants was the best part of the show, and
everyone else would want to join my snarky butt in doing so. I, was apparently wrong. With tonight's start of the
voting rounds of the show though, we thought we'd give the chat another go round. So come back here at 8pm and check in, that's when we'll unveil the
location of the super secreat chat room. Which of the 12 girls is going to shine tonight? I'll see you at 8 pm tonight
and we'll find out together.TV Squad Hot Topics
