Dexter copycat killings???
Just when you think you've seen it all, a newspaper article like this comes across your computer screen, thanks to TV Squad commenter Robert Getch. It seems as though an Edmonton filmmaker has been arrested for murder, in what looks to be a Dexter copycat killing. Creepy.
Apparently, the murder that Mark Twitchell committed mimicked the same one in the movie script he had created, which was found in his home by the police, about a cheating husband who gets murdered because he falls for an internet dating scam. Twitchell is supposedly an avid Dexter fan, which clearly explains why he decided to kill the cheating bastard, Dexter style. Can Twitchell really be blamed for the murder, since Dexter basically planned it?
It gets creepier, folks...
Moral Orel: Nature Part One
(S02E19)
This is an early review.
Clay Puppington: Hunting dogs are just nature's rabbits.
With every episode, more and more layers have been peeled back from the dynamic between Orel and his father. At first, Orel seemed blissfully ignorant of his father's distance and abuse, but over the course of this season, Orel, like all kids do eventually, is realizing his father is only human, and not a very sane one, either.
National Geographic goes inside the Aryan Brotherhood
The Aryan Brotherhood is a network of white power groups that began in the California prison system and is now spread throughout several other state prisons. The group consists of men who are trained to kill efficiently and mercilessly and control the drug trade. On March 4 at 8:00pm, Explorer: Aryan Brotherhood will go inside these prisons to give a first-hand look at how the group operates, and also delve into efforts by law enforcement to stop the Brotherhood, which boasts at least one former member who claims to have killed twenty-two of his fellow inmates.
PBS wonders: who would win in a shark vs. octopus fight?
Ever sat around with friends and tried to one one up each other with absurd combinations in an imaginary fight and guessing who would win it (like Superman versus Mecha Godzilla)? If so then this clip from PBS' Nature is for you: Shark vs Octopus.
I don't want to spoil it by saying more, but all I know is I'm not going to upset about never getting to go scuba diving ever again.
