While reality shows have made superstars out of scores of regular people, those aspiring to loftier heights may want to reconsider it as a route to fame. After all, has there been a single reality star who has come close to being the next Meryl Streep, Al Pacino or Britney Spears? We think not.

Pursuing a legitimate career in entertainment takes dedication, patience and study with experts. Not everyone is talented enough to make it work, even after years of preparation, and just being a well-known reality star doesn't entitle you to a career as a singer or actor.

Kourtney Kardashian is such a prude. She said it herself. As seen on 'Kourtney & Kim Take New York,' she absolutely freaked out about a kissing scene she was asked to do for a 'One Life to Live' guest appearance. She's still freaking out on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC).

It was a guest spot on her favorite show from years ago, and yet she was beside herself with anxiety and craziness over this minor aspect. Should she be surprised there's kissing on a soap opera?

"I feel like a prostitute," she said of the experience. "Being paid to kiss someone."

Kourtney Kardashian scored an opportunity many daytime fans would kill for. On 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' (Sun., 10PM ET on E!) she received a phone call from her agent informing her that he got her a part on the soap 'One Life to Live.' As a long-time 'OLTL' fan, Kourtney was equal parts excited and nervous.

The scales shifted more toward nervous when she got her lines and discovered that not only did she have several of them, she also had a kissing scene.

Before Kourtney could go any further, she needed to have one of her classic Kourtney Kardashian freak-outs where she overthinks everything and nearly sabotages herself.

It's difficult to put the demons of your past behind you. Even more so when those demons were broadcast across the nation on one of the most popular reality programs of the past decade. So Scott Disick ('Keeping Up With the Kardashians') wasn't at all surprised when he got a sour reaction from the crowd on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS).

"It happens even when I walk down the street sometimes," he said.

"People boo you?" Lopez asked.

"Go f*** yourself," they'll apparrently say to him. As he put it, "You know, the normal stuff. But nothing too bad."

Early in Piers Morgan's (weekdays, 9 PM ET on CNN) interview with Kim and Kourtney Karadasian he made an unusual request of the sisters.

"Look, I got these two charming cardboard cutouts of the pair of you," Morgan said, referring to two life-sized photo cutouts of the Karadashian sisters he had in his studio.

"So what I thought would be quite fun is to get you to go and stand by your respective cutouts, and I want you to talk yourselves through your own bodies. Good and bad, what you like and don't like."

The sisters approached the exercise enthusiastically, and had mostly nice things to say about their own physical attributes. During their accounting, they shared that Kim's breasts are real, but Kourtney's are fake.

The segment also proved that Morgan is trying hard to be original when it comes to his interviewing style, and that he may well harbor fantasies about being a sorority pledge master.

It wasn't long ago that Kourtney and Khloe "Took" Miami. But since Khloe Kardashian will soon star in her own reality series with husband Lamar Odom, the oldest K sister has partnered with Kim to launch a branch of their D-A-S-H boutique in New York City.

In 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' (Sun., 10PM ET on E!), Kourtney and her partner/baby daddy Scott Disick tease Kim for apparently having never asked out a guy.

Kim recently got a man's number, but he doesn't have hers. "You have the number. The phone call's meant to happen," says Kourtney. Disick (in a pink blazer) agrees.

Kim refuses to call him, so Kourtney grabs the phone and dials. It begins to ring, but Kim hangs up. "He's calling back! ... What do I do? What do I do!?" squeals Kim like a 14-year-old. She doesn't answer the call. "I am like so embarrassed right now!"

Various Kardashian family members are pressuring Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom to start a family. But her big sister Kourtney, the mother of 1-year-old Mason, is "the worst person to talk to if you want kids," she told George Lopez on 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS).

Or perhaps the best person, if she wants to hear some brutal truths. Kourtney tells her sister about having no free time, and she gets really graphic on the topic of sex. Kourtney recently told her little sister, "Once you have a kid, then when you have sex, it feels like a metal pipe is being shoved up you." Eww, thanks for that mental picture.

If you love everything about the letter "K," the "Karsdashian Kard" was a great concept. But if you're a fan of fiscal responsibility, the "Kard" was a terrible, terrible idea. A few weeks ago, sisters Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian issued their own prepaid MasterCard -- and yes, its name really was spelled with that extra "K."'

The Kardashian Kard also featured a very "cleveage-y" photo of the trio. Sadly, the photo might be the only thing the Kard had going for it.

Less than a month later, the sisters have canceled the card. Yes, a Krazy Kard Kancelation Kontroversy has KO'ed Kim, Khloe and Kourtney! (Sorry, we had to get that out of our system.) But why did the sisters take the Kard off the market? 'Showbiz Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on HLN) has the scoop.

In recent years, Halloween has become more, well, "adult." Once upon a time, the holiday was for kids, and involved dressing up as a ghost or a witch (which only required a sheet, or a hat/broom combo). But now, adults choose increasingly sexy costumes.

Kim Kardashian is no exception to this trend. On 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), Kim recapped the different Halloween costumes she considered this year -- accompanied by photos of her wearing them. Her selections included: A sexy leopard, a sexy pirate, a sexy Queen of Hearts, and a sexy Little Red Riding Hood.

Can Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert beat "the Unemployed America" to become Time magazine's "Person of the Year"? Maybe.

The Comedy Central duo have been jointly nominated for the honor, but they face stiff competition from the likes of conservative stars Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, along with pop icon Lady Gaga.

Is Kourtney through with DASH? Or is she just trying to put the guilt trip on sister Kim and mom Kris for not putting as much time and effort into the fashion boutiques as she does?

On 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' (Sun., 10PM ET on E!), the three discuss opening a New York branch and re-signing the lease on their Los Angeles store. Kourtney says, "I just don't think I want to do either anymore ... If I'm the only one who's willing to sacrifice my time, is it even worth it for me to go by myself to New York and put all this work [into] the store when no one else seems to care?"

Her mother says she's "bailing on everybody ... That's a little dramatic, Kourtney." Especially since we know Kourtney goes ahead with it. She was at the DASH Soho store location earlier this month.

The Kardashian reality TV juggernaut shows no sign of slowing down. Not content with taking Miami and Los Angeles, Kourtney Kardashian's getting ready to take New York for her new TV show.

And this time she'll have sis Kim for company. As reported by E! Online, the sisters have moved to the Big Apple to film 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York,' which is due to debut on E! in January 2011.

They arrived over the weekend, and yesterday Kourtney blogged that "Mason, Kim, Scott and I arrived in NYC. ... So excited for some fall in the Big Apple. No place better."

Kourtney Kardashian is trying for Baby Number Two with her frequently despised boyfriend Scott Disick. It seems that Kourtney really wants a sibling for the couple's current child, Mason Dash. But on the new 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' (10PM ET on E!), Kourt puts way too much pressure on her boyfriend. Next, Kourt and Scott's bickering about their "baby-making" spills over -- and sister Kim Kardashian gets dragged into the fight.

Kim is stuck in the kitchen -- forced to listen while the couple discuss their child-bearing problems. "You guys seem like you're in a good mood ... " Kim says cautiously. Wrong! Incorrect!

Kim Kardashian is currently dating Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin. ( ... Probably. The couple are a little vague as to whether they're actually in a relationship or not.) But based on the new episode of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' (Mon., 10PM ET on E!), Miles may not want to be romantically involved with Ms. Kardashian for much longer. Because Kim does a little cheating on the latest show.

It is possible that maybe, one day, we could see something on TV featuring the Kardashian sisters that doesn't involve ...

1) Gross private parts.

2) Nudity.

3) Or nudity and gross private parts.

... No. Of course not. That is probably not possible. And on the current episode of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' (Sun., 10PM ET on E!), we get more of the same.
