house of lies promoGet ready corporate America. Marty Kaan is coming for you.

Showtime has released a new trailer for their new midseason comedy, 'House of Lies,' featuring the cast -- which includes Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell and Ben Schwartz -- sticking it to the 1 percent. They're management consultants who control more than you think, and they'll say whatever they can to close the deal -- even if that means seducing a client. And yes, there's even a little more dancing involved.

'House of Lies' Stars Don Cheadle & Kristen Bell Rock a New Promo

by Maggie Furlong, posted Sep 24th 2011 7:00PM
House of LiesCritics haven't seen more than a quick clip or trailer for Showtime's new comedy 'House of Lies,' but I'm still excited and optimistic for what the show might be.

See I love a lot of the network's so-called comedies, but this one -- starring Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz, Josh Lawson and Dawn Oliveri -- has promise to actually be funny.

Proof: This bare-bones but totally adorable promo of the five management consultants letting loose a bit. Sure, the show's description calls them "cutthroat" and says they'll do just about anything for money, but that can be comical, too. And even without showing me a second of footage from the show, seeing Cheadle's silly side and, of course, Bell's usual adorableness has gotten me pumped to see more.

We'll have to wait until closer to the show's Jan. 8 premiere for actual screeners, but stay tuned. For now, just enjoy ...

Kristen Bell and Craig Ferguson Slide at the Palace of Versailles (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 5th 2011 6:39AM
Kristen Bell, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Craig Ferguson and Kristen Bell got to tour the Palace of Versaille during 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS) week-long visit to Paris, France. They discovered things both fun and disgusting.

One of the curators of the palace talked to them about a position that used to exist where a member of the nobility would have the "privilege" of taking the paper for the king to the loo. Or, as Bell put it, "They wiped his butt."

Later, Ferguson asked the curator if he'd come into one of the larger rooms, ran and slid across the room. We then cut to Ferguson and Bell doing just that, and we admit it looked like a great deal of fun. We don't recommend necessarily doing that if you should go there, or in any other landmarks like that ... unless you're "the king" as Ferguson was told he was.

Eddie Izzard Would Have Made Humans Vegetarians If He Was God (VIDEO)

Eddie Izzard & Kristen Bell, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Eddie Izzard got into a deep discussion with Kristen Bell and Craig Feguson in the streets of Paris on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS). He presented a notion of how different the world might be had God made people vegetarians, rather than carnivores.

"No one would actually know about killing at all except when your granddad died," he extrapolated, making an interesting case about how vegetarianism from the beginning might have impacted murder and crime.

"If you make everyone so that we didn't even know how to kill," he said. "Then that would have worked a lot better. If I was God I'd do that."

'The Late Late Show' Goes to France, Talks Sharks With Jean Reno and Kristen Bell (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 2nd 2011 5:52AM
Kristen Bell & Jean Reno, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Even though he was taping in Paris, Craig Ferguson was still sensitive to the fact that these episodes of 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET) would be airing during "Shark Week" in the United States.

Or maybe it was Kristen Bell who should get the credit, as she's the one who brought up sharks when they were talking to French actor Jean Reno. Stewart is Ferguson's traveling companion for the week.

She related a story about when she was filming 'Couples Retreat' in Bora Bora with Reno. He treated the cast to a once in a lifetime experience swimming with sharks courtesy of the chief diver from his film 'The Big Blue.'

by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 13th 2011 2:34AM
Kristen Bell, 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'Kristen Bell knows how to have a good time. In fact, she spent 45 minutes doing something that wouldn't even cross our minds in Nairobi, Kenya. On 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), Jay Leno revealed footage of her at a place called Giraffe Manor.

Bell described it as a place "where the giraffes literally come up to the porch and interact with you ... You can literally just pay 10 dollars and go feed them these pellets and touch them and interact with them, and it's so cool."

But Bell had ideas to make the experience even more unique. "If you are as weird as I am, you would be the one person who is putting the pellets in [your] mouth and letting the giraffes take the pellets out of your mouth," she said.

Kristen Bell Talks 'Jersey Shore' on 'Lopez'Kristen Bell and her fiancé Dax Shepard are so obsessed with 'Jersey Shore,' they've actually considered stalking the cast, Bell admitted on 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS).

When the reality series was filming in Miami, "We had a legit conversation [saying] ... 'Do we fly to Miami?' And it wasn't like a, 'Should we fly to Miami,'" Bell explained. "It was like a, 'What weekends do you have free?' conversation."

"We were watching an episode a couple weeks ago and Dax said, 'In my will, I'm gonna leave you to Pauly D.'" Apparently, (if that were possible) Bell said she'd be "happy to go to Pauly D!"

She's also met Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and adores her. Hey, MTV, sounds like Bell and Shepard are prime candidates for 'Jersey' cameos...

by Aimee Deeken, posted Dec 28th 2010 5:20PM

Reality TV -- with all its challenges, critiques, eliminations and votes -- is bound to create friction between judges and contestants. And after looking back at the year that was, it's clear that Simon Cowell wasn't the only snippy judge in the land of reality-TV competitions. We've found several other examples of testy critics, and their victims aren't always quietly stoic, either. Check out our video playlist of berating judges and cocky competitors. Top 5 Celebrity Narrators in Television History

by Brad Trechak, posted Oct 18th 2010 2:55PM
Arrested DevelopmentThey're heard, but not seen. TV show narrators have set the scene for viewers for decades, their familiar voices cluing us into what to expect (or how to react) to certain plot developments. And more often than not, these off-screen narrators are well-known celebrities -- making their comments and asides all the more familiar and comforting.

While compiling a list of our five favorite celebrity narrators, only two stipulations were used: First, this list only deals with scripted american programming. Documentaries don't count, nor do any overseas imports. Second, the narrator in question can not have appeared on screen as a regular character on the series (although in some instances, the narrator is a future version of the main character, played by a different actor).

That being said, here are our five ...

Dax Shepard Talks Fiancee Kristen Bell on 'Chelsea Lately''Parenthood' actor Dax Shepard and fiancée Kristen Bell don't have those "freebie" lists wherein there are a few celebrity hotties each is allowed to sleep with once (if he or she happens to be given the opportunity).

"If I let her sleep with some dude one night, I don't think the dude's gonna be happy with just one night," explained Shepard on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!). "I'll be dealing with some dude for the rest of our lives, probably, because she's that spectacular." Chelsea Handler made him clarify whether she's all-around spectacular -- or just as concerns the bedroom.

However, there is one celebrity they'd both sleep with: Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins from 'Friday Night Lights'). "I don't even think that makes me gay either," said Shepard. The host agreed, "A lot of guys and girls want to have sex with him."
