"It's still a comedy show, so they promise not to step on my toes or that type of thing, but they definitely want to know the title of the song, the subject matter of the song, can it be seen as an insult?" he said.

Last week, when the women of 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC) discussed Congresswoman Michele Bachmann's 'One Word' appearance on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' the conversation focused mostly on the awkwardness of the segment and Bachmann's jabs at her fellow Republican nominees. But after their initial chat, the national conversation about the appearance re-focused on the intro music that Fallon's house band The Roots played as Bachmann walked onto the stage, a song entitled 'Lyin' Ass Bitch.'

Jimmy Fallon apologized to Congresswoman Michele Bachmann Tuesday night for the fact that his 'Late Night' house band The Roots played a snippet of a 1985 Fishbone song called 'Lyin' Ass B*tch' as she was introduced on the show.

Bachmann accepted his apology but demanded one from NBC as well. Doing the rounds of TV and radio talk shows Wednesday Bachmann alleged that NBC's failure to act in the matter demonstrated that she was a victim "of bias from the Hollywood Entertainment elite."

Now the AP reports that the GOP Presidential candidate has received an apology from NBC. According to Bachmann's spokeswoman Alice Stewart, the network's vice president for late night programming, Doug Vaughan, wrote to her offering his most sincere apologies.

'The View' Ladies Mock Michele Bachmann's 'One Word' Fallon Interview (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Nov 22nd 2011 1:45PM
Michele Bachmann's awkward interview on 'Late Night' is making the rounds on the web after she played a game of 'One Word' with Jimmy Fallon. With the lights dimmed, Fallon tried to take the Congresswoman through some word association, but before he could get the game started she blurted out "Partymonkey!" and "cranberries." Once they finally got going, she used the opportunity to toss a few zingers at her fellow Republican presidential candidates.

Tuesday on 'The View,' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC) the panel replayed a clip from the interview and went around the table sharing the one word they'd use to describe Bachmann. "Oops!" cracked Joy Behar. Barbara Walters chose not to share hers. "I don't think I will say it," she demurred. "Bonehead!" offered Sherri Shepherd. Whoopi Goldberg put a bow on the ladies' Bachmann opinions. "She looked fantastic ... but she's not presidential material, I'm sorry, she's not. Just my opinion."

Cooper was talking about how he could do stories that "really resonate in people's lives."

"Yeah, like going tanning with Snooki," Fallon countered.

by Laura Prudom, posted Nov 4th 2011 9:30AM
Kirsten Dunst and Jimmy FallonEven celebrities aren't immune to the siren song of trashy reality TV. When actress Kirsten Dunst paid a visit to 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC), the pair soon got caught up in their mutual love of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette.'

"I like 'The Bachelor' better because the girls go so crazy over this dude they don't know, and they're so in love with him and dying for these roses," Dunst laughed. "Like, you haven't even met the guy for five minutes and you're already ready to rip this girl's hair out!"

Fallon admitted that his favorite 'Bachelorette' season was Ali Fedotowsky's, thanks in large part to the weirdness of Kasey Kahl, the kooky suitor who promised to "guard and protect" Fedotowsky's heart. Fallon then launched into an uncanny impression of the contestant, leaving both of them in hysterics. You've officially made it, Kasey!

'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'Jimmy Fallon was rocking some sweet Justin Bieber hair when he took to the stage on 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC) to perform the teen pop star's signature hit. Only, Fallon had retooled some of the lyrics in light of the recent scandal.

20-year-old Mariah Yeater has filed a lawsuit against Bieber claiming that when she was 19 and he was 16, the two hooked up backstage after a concert, and he's the father of her 3 month old baby. Bieber is denying it, but Yeater says she has "credible evidence" -- but in this modern era does it even matter?

Tracy Morgan, 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'A conversation behind-the-scenes spilled out onto 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC) when Jimmy Fallon brought up the latest 'Apes' remake, 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes.' Guest Tracy Morgan was not a fan.

"Something made me-- to the point where I couldn't feel for a computer-generated monkey," he said. "I couldn't. I'm old school."

He then started to show just how old school he is, by reciting the names of multiple characters from the original film, and then slipping into dialogue from the Heston version. Eventually, he was up and rocking back and forth like an ape, declaring that "the only good human is a dead human!"

Heidi Klum, 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'Heidi Klum had an important tip for both men and women on 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC). When the music brought her in, she was dancing and grooving, but Jimmy Fallon cut it off before she could make her way behind the desk to dance with him.

When she fired it up again, he was a bit stiff and awkward, which she warned him is sending the wrong message. "If you're like stiff at dancing, you know what that means?" she asked coyly.

"I can get down a little bit, too," Fallon said. "Sometimes. It depends."

In a five-minute medley in which they were backed up awesomely by the Roots, Fallon and Timberlake cycled through a mostly '90s era of rap classics that included Coolio's Gangster's Paradise, the Fugees, Sir Mix-a-lot's 'I Like Big Butts,' the Beastie Boys, Outkast, and more. Eva Longoria Tells Fallon About an ATM in Dubai That Gives Out Gold Bars (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Oct 28th 2011 6:00AM
Eva Longoria, 'Late Night'Celebrities are not like you and me. They have crazy, jet-setting lives in which they do things like go to Dubai for the day, as Eva Longoria did recently. And as she told 'Late Night' (Weeknights., 12:30AM ET on NBC) host Jimmy Fallon, Dubai is one crazy place.

"It's like, fake, and it's like a baby Vegas." Now, we don't know if the streets in Dubai are actually paved with gold, but the ATMs there do dispense gold. Actual gold. Fallon held up a picture of Longoria standing next to a "Gold to Go" ATM. As she explained, "This ATM, you put money in, and it gives you a gold bar."

She was going to give it a whirl and take out her own gold bar but changed her mind when she discovered it would cost a whopping $2,000. That's a lot of chump change for what's basically a souvenir.

Salma Hayek, 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'Jimmy Fallon loves to play games with his guests on 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC), and one of his favorites is beer pong. Salma Hayek, on the other hand, had never played the game before her appearance on the show, but she's definitely a fan.

Not once, but twice, she said "I love this game!" while playing. She did, however, suggest upping the stakes considerably by drinking tequila instead of beer the next time around. That should make the later rounds far less successful, while way more hilarious at the same time.

Jeff Musial, 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'Jimmy Fallon was not having a good time with animal expert Jeff Musial's scaly friends on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC). First, one of them not-pooped on Fallon's desk, which almost caused him to lose it.

But then Musial brought out a snake he said "packs enough venom, it can drop an elephant within minutes."

And he wondered why Fallon was climbing through the set trying to get away? The snake wound up pretty agitated, and started trying to attack the floor, so Fallon urged Musial to put it in the box. But the box was on its side.
