Jimmy Fallon Gets 'Lost' in 'Late'

by Danny Gallagher, posted Feb 15th 2010 9:15PM
'Late Night' host Jimmy Fallon really has come a long way in a short while. His comedy has been very focused, imaginative and (above all else) funny enough to stand on its own two feet. That makes it an even more perfect time for Fallon and company to spoof the dramatic mindf*#&ery of shows like 'Lost'.

Boondocks won't return until next year

by Adam Finley, posted Jul 14th 2006 11:05AM
boondocksThe second season of Boondocks was supposed to kick off later this year, but that's no longer the case. Don't worry fans, the show is still coming back for a second season, but creator Aaron McGruder says production is taking longer, and that they're simply trying to make this season look better than last season. In other words, there's no bitter contract disputes or any kind of in-fighting going on, McGruder just wants the show to look good. Waiting can be a bummer, but it sounds like once the new season begins in March of 2007, it'll be well worth the wait for fans of the series. Oh yeah, and instead of fifteen new episodes, the network has ordered twenty. Until then, I guess we'll just have to enjoy the DVD.

Adam Carolla vs Ann Coulter

adam carollaDid any of our readers happen to catch this exchange (link to an MP3 file) between Adam Carolla and Ann Coulter on Carolla's radio show the other day? If we thought Ann Coulter was vicious, she may have met her match with Adam Carolla, who started their conversation by gently razing her for calling in an hour and a half late, and then hanging up on her after she tells him she's tight on time. He then tells his crew and the listening audience he "doesn't have time for bitches." Therein lies the difference between Adam Carolla and myself, because I always have time for bitches. According to The Great Society, Carolla offered an apology to Coulter the next day that really wasn't much of an apology. I don't have an audio link for that one, though.
