by Catherine Lawson, posted Jul 4th 2011 9:30AM
Lady Gaga has already dished out the advice as a guest mentor on the 'American Idol' this year, and now we hear that she'll be bringing her brand of theatricality to 'So You Think You Can Dance' later on this summer.A Fox source told 'Entertainment Weekly' that Lady Gaga will be a guest judge on 'SYTYCD' sometime before the talent show's Season 8 Finale in August.
Judge Nigel Lythgoe hinted at a Gaga appearance during a recent interview with Yahoo. He said she'll "give great advice on how to handle yourself, how to be creatve with what you do, and how to be a fabulous performer. She has actually done what I want these [contestants] to do, which is get an audience behind them."
'Skating With the Stars': Johnny Weir Feuds With Bethenny Frankel: 'I Don't Care to Watch You' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Dec 14th 2010 1:00AM
Bethenny Frankel is skating on thin ice on 'Skating With the Stars' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC). Previously, the former 'Real Housewife' feuded with the judges, and was nearly eliminated several times. Her response to this? Frankel said that she's simply having a good time on the show: "I don't care if they give me zeros."But on tonight's episode, judge Johnny Weir got into an argument with Bethenny after her routine. The reality starlet gave a stiff performance, skating awkwardly to 'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder. When she was done, Weir said that he didn't want to see her skate again.
"To me it's very clear. You don't care what we think; and I don't care to watch you perform anymore," the judge said.

So You Think You Can Dance: Vegas Callbacks 2
by Michael Pascua, posted Oct 15th 2009 12:50AM

(S06E08) We're down to 77 contestants trying to get to the top 20 of So You Think You Can Dance. It's day two of Vegas and we follow the rest of the contestants as they go through choreography from several of our favorite choreographers including Making the Band's Lorrie Ann Gibson.
Injuries plague several of the dancers tonight, and it makes me wonder how far I would make it on this show before I sprained my Achilles' tendon.
I was all excited that we would find out the top 20 tonight. Sadly, I've been duped and will have to wait for next week.
So You Think You Can Dance: Top 8 Perform

(S05E18) While Mia Michaels was a little better during her last guest stint at the judge's table, it was Ellen DeGeneres that excited me the most. I'm a huge fan of DeGeneres, dating back to her stand-up work. And while I think she's hilarious and I love her comedic style, I'm not sure if her presence here made much sense.GROUP
"Let It Rock," Kevin Rudolf f. Lil' Wayne (Contemporary, Travis Wall)
I'm not sure this offered each individual dancer the chance to shine that Travis indicated it would; either that or they were all shining in the same style. Nevertheless, it was a high energy performance. I actually found the lighting on the costumes a bit distracting from the performances, but as it's a group number, I'm not too worried about it.
