Watch the Emmys With TV Squad on Sunday

by Joel Keller, posted Aug 26th 2010 5:08PM
Emmy statueThe 2010 Emmys are shaping up to be a humdinger of a show. There are intriguing storylines all over the place. Will new shows dominate the major awards? Who will be the winner in the epic battle between 'Glee' and 'Modern Family?' What will Conan say if he wins an Emmy for his version of 'The Tonight Show?' Will Neil Patrick Harris finally win for playing Barney Stinson? And will Jimmy Fallon play beer pong with Bryan Cranston?

I'm looking forward to finding out, and we're inviting our loyal readers to watch along with us. On Sunday starting at 7PM ET, I'll be hosting a live chat via Cover It Live. We'll talk about the red carpet shenanigans -- who doesn't love to make fun of silly outfits and inane questions -- then have a discussion about the ceremony itself, which starts at 8PM ET / 5PM PT (remember: it's live to the entire country this year).

by Erin Martell, posted Apr 24th 2008 12:21PM

Terry O'QuinnAfter a five-week hiatus, Lost returns tonight with the season's final five episodes. TV Squad is hosting a a live chat during the 10pm ET airing of "The Shape of Things to Come." Share your thoughts on the show's first post-strike episode, and read other fans' opinions.

The chat will start 15 minutes before the episode airs. Check TV Squad's front page later tonight for the recap post; the chat link will be posted there. From the looks of ABC's promos, "The Shape of Things to Come" is going to be action-packed. A lot of ground needs to be covered by the season's end. The first eight episodes introduced a lot of questions about the fate of the 815ers.

Stargate SG-1: Unending (series finale)

by Richard Keller, posted Jun 22nd 2007 7:40PM

Stargate Cast

(S10E20) So, here we are. After ten seasons as the longest-running, first-run American science fiction program Stargate SG-1 is finally coming to end. Well, at least as a first-run series since there are a number of direct-to-DVD movies in the works. Also, technically, it's the official end for only us late-as-usual Americans, since the finale aired already in other parts of the world. And, hey, while it hasn't been as hyped up as the series finale of The Sopranos, there are still many, many people who are extremely sad to see it go. Including myself.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, we're going to have a chatroom live for all of you to join in on as the show goes on and share your theories, reactions, and opinions in real-time. Shortly after the finale you'll be able to read a review of the show here. You can read the review after the jump. And, the chatroom is still open to express your opinions and feelings on the series finale.

You can enter the chatroom here.

Battlestar finale open chat tonight at TV Squad

by Keith McDuffee, posted Mar 25th 2007 11:07AM
battlestar galacticaI wanted to try something a little different tonight during the third season finale of Battlestar Galactica. Rather than do a liveblog, I thought I'd try a live chat during the show.

I'll have tonight's review post up at 10 PM Eastern time, though at first it will only have a link to a chat room where you can discuss the episode as it airs. Later in the night, I'll update the post with my review and possibly a few highlights from the chat (if I can pay attention to both at the same time!)

Hey, if this first chat's a success, we'll consider doing more of them. So make sure you drop on by!

Chat Live with Jacqueline McKenzie of The 4400

by Michael Canfield, posted Aug 5th 2006 10:08AM
Jacqueline McKenzie: Unless, like me, your typing fingers turn into thumbs around brainy, sexy women, this Sunday August 6th at 9 p.m. Eastern you can join BuddyTV for a live chat with Jacqueline McKenzie -- NTAC Agent Diana Skouris -- on The 4400.

McKenzie also recently appeared as the wife of one of the William H. Macy's characters in the Nightmares and Dreamscapes episode: Umney's Last Case. You can ask her how she likes Vancouver, or whether she thinks the writers will give her a new romantic interest, now that she's dumped the kind-but-unsuitable Marco (I think Agent Diana prefers badder boys).

by Ryan j Budke, posted May 23rd 2006 8:00PM
AI; american idol; logo; moobyWho would have guessed at the beginning of the season that it would have come down to Katharine and Taylor? Many people tagged Taylor as a sure thing early on, but I doubt many would have expected young Ms. McPhee to make it this far. Come join me and the rest of the American Idol fanatics tonight as we chat live during the show. As with all of our chats, you must have AIM or a compatible chat client (Trillian, GAIM, etc), once you have that, meet back here to this very post at 8pm ET, and that's when I'll unveil the location for our super secret chat room. Jack's time is up! Chat live during the season finale of 24!

by Ryan j Budke, posted May 22nd 2006 8:00PM
24; jack bauer; kiefer sutherland; foxThis is it folks-- there's only two hellacious hours left in this 5th horribly trying day for our hero Jack Bauer. Will he make it through alive? Don't get too cocky and say "Yes Ryan, don't be dumb, he just signed on for three more seasons." That doesn't mean we won't see some bad day from Jack's past. It would certainly be a simple way of bringing back some of the characters that have left us this year. Join me and all the other 24 fanatics as we chat live along with the show tonight. Don't forget to the get to the room early so you can get your Jack "kill-count" guesses in. As with all of our chats, you must have AIM or a compatible client. Once you have that, make sure you check back to this very post at 8pm ET, and that's when I'll unveil the location for the super secret chat room. Until then, gravitas!

lost; the others; the islandOk, so I screwed up last week and said that it was a Michael-centric episode and we got some answers.
