The Parents Television Council doesn't like Family Guy (duh) - VIDEO
by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 11th 2009 1:00PM
The Parents Television Council has added FOX's Family Guy to the list of shows it's going after. They are filing another complaint with the FCC, this time over last Sunday's episode of the cartoon that featured (from the PTC complaint) "bestiality, orgies, and babies eating sperm." By sheer coincidence, this was the same plot as the latest episode of The Hills.
Actually, I was kinda shocked by the episode myself, but I'm always shocked by episodes of Family Guy. That's what makes it funny.
Family Guy: Long John Peter (season finale) - VIDEO

(S06E12) As a result of adopting (and by adopting, I mean bird-napping) a parrot from the veterinarian's office, Peter becomes a pirate. The sad part was that it wasn't even International Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day.Actually, that's not really what the episode is about. It's more about Chris' pursuit of a vet intern named Anna. While Chris' pursues Anna, he gets advice from Peter and the gang (which, as the history of the show has proven, is never a good idea).
The pirate segment of the episode wasn't very good and seemed out of place. Fortunately, it was very short. Despite its use in the promos, it was kind of forgettable. I did enjoy the car chase bit involving "sugar cane, tobacco and spices". The car chase itself seemed like something of a cross between a pirate movie and a video-game.
Family Guy: Lois Kills Stewie (Part 2)
by Brad Trechak, posted Nov 11th 2007 10:42PM
(S06E05) Lois has realized that she has given birth to a monster and knows what she has to do to resolve it. The world needs more mothers who take responsibility like this.I never liked episodes which end up saying "the whole episode you just watched never happened", but the nice thing about Family Guy is its tendency to call itself out on its own crap before the viewer can. I believe Brian described it best when he called it giving the audience a giant middle finger.
The seven hottest animated housewives
by Jay Black, posted Oct 10th 2007 11:22AM
There's long been a debate among certain kinds of creepy cartoon enthusiasts about which animated girls we would most like to, uh, "get-to-know better", should we ever live in a Cool World-type universe where that sort of thing was possible. Judy Jetson, teenage Pebbles, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid (with feet or without)... the list, sadly, goes on and on.As I get older, though, I find one area of Creepyville the internet geeks have yet to explore: which animated housewife is the hottest! This being the internet, the only way to truly rectify the situation is to create a numbered list. I thus present to you my list of the seven hottest animated housewives...
Family Guy: Brian Sings and Swings
by Ryan j Budke, posted Jan 9th 2006 2:42PM
I've been catching up on episodes of The Sopranos in preparation for the new
season, and I just got done with the second season. I also received a great Rat Pack CD set for Christmas, which has
been getting heavy play here at Casa De Budke. So, between those two things and last night's episode of Family Guy, I've gotten an unexpectedly large dose of Frank Sinatra Jr. over the
past couple of weeks. Not a bad thing per se, just an odd thing. If I were to create a "New Rat Pack" from
animated characters on TV now, I'm almost certain that Brian and Stewie would be on it as well, (and probably Timmy
from South Park, and Bender from Futurama
just for good measure). On with the show!Family Guy: The Father, the Son and the Holy Fonz

I was a little worried going into this episode, that they had given the best jokes away in the
commercials: Stewie running into the glass wall over and over again, Brian rolling him down the steps, Brian painting
his ball black. Fortunately, I was very wrong. This was one of the funniest episodes this year, and most of the jokes
didn't even come from what we saw in the previews. I think this was actually the episode that I promised to
"time" the segues, but with all the commotion around here, you guys are just going to have to wait until next
time for that. On with the show!TV Squad Hot Topics
