Ron Artest Wears a Fake Beard, Plays Football With Jimmy Kimmel (VIDEO)
NBA star Ron Artest is an odd fellow. He's won a world championship, but he's better known for his unique brand of behavior. Artest was the first basketball player to ever run into the stands and attack a fan. Less dangerously, but just as weirdly, he drank cognac during the halftime of games, wore a bathrobe to practice -- and applied for a job at Circuit City, so that he could get an employee discount (while earning millions of dollars a year).
All of this makes Artest a risk to have on your team -- but it also makes him an excellent guest on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC).
Kobe, Lakers Make Special 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Visit

How long will Khloe and Lamar's marriage last?
It's getting harder and harder to keep up with the Kardashians. I know - why bother, right? But that krazy klan does keep me company while I work into the wee hours. But when I heard that Khloe and her beau, Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom, were getting married after just one month of seeing each other, all I could think was, really? And the kicker is that Khloe is all huffy over Kourtney getting back with her baby daddy Scott (at this writing anyway), and here she herself goes and gets hitched after knowing the guy for only one month.
Now E! is planning on airing their wedding in a special, hour-long episode of the family's reality show, titled "Keeping Up With the Kardashians: The Wedding." The pair were married earlier this week; the episode will air in November.
How long do you think the marriage will last? I say they'll split up before the the wedding airs.

The NBA returns to TNT in October
I am now going to report on the telecast schedule for the 2007-08 NBA season. For those of you who are asking 'Wasn't NBA the name of the network on Studio 60?' please pass over this post as quickly as possible.
TNT will televise the first games of the new season, which begins on October 30th, with a double-header. The 8 pm kickoff will be between the San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trail Blazers. That will be followed by a 10:30 p.m. game between the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers. TNT will televise 52 regular season games this year, with 46 of them being part of their exclusive Thursday night broadcast. They will also broadcast the annual All-Star game on February 17th. What this means to non-basketball fans is a few less showings of Law & Order. Yea, that's right, get angry!
