Which dancing show is a fit for Louis Van Amstel?
by Michael Pascua, posted Aug 25th 2009 7:02PM
Louis Van Amstel must be the hot ticket in the reality TV dace circuit. After choreographing several dances this summer on So You Think You Can Dance, he's back on Dancing with the Stars. For season nine of DWTS, Louis is paired with Kelly Osbourne. It sounds like an odd pairing because Louis is 37 and Kelly is 24. I'd imagine that Kelly had a younger professional like Mark Ballas (23) or Derek Hough (24). Let's assume height and ABC executives were a big factor.
This leaves the question: Which show fits for Louis Van Amstel?
So You Think You Can Dance: Top 18 Perform

(S05E07) Shane Sparks, you sly devil. Somehow he managed to choreograph two routines and allow his face to be shown. That's great because Shane has provided some of the best hip-hop choreography this show has seen. Unfortunately, this episode didn't show any of it.Cat Deeley starts off the show on an odd note. I didn't know that wrapping my living room drapery over one shoulder is fashionable. The order of the show threw me off, because they put the best performances in the middle and the bad ones on the ends.
Dancing With The Stars Preview: The Women

Yes, it's that time of the television season once again. The fine folks over at ABC are back with another round of Dancing With The Stars. The competition kicks off for real on Monday, but Erin and I thought it would be fun to see what everyone thinks about this latest group of contestants before they all hit the dance floor. Who looks to be the favorite? And who looks to be in trouble before the show even begins. After the jump, I'll take a look at the ladies competing in season six.
