Fallon Got Lucy Liu Drunk With Beer Pong Before a Broadway Performance (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted May 26th 2011 5:07AM
We had a feeling all those drinking-related games on 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:35AM ET on NBC) might lead to trouble, but it looks like it wasn't Jimmy Fallon who suffered. Lucy Liu was back on and the pair got to talking about playing beer pong the last time she was on.Because she had to perform on Broadway that night, she asked if there was any way they could put apple cider in instead, but the staff insisted it had to be beer.
"People get drunk on our show," Fallon explained. "That's what we do, yeah. We make sure of that."
Lucy Liu Enjoyed Filming in China For Her Latest Movie Project (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted May 20th 2011 3:29AM
Lucy Liu got to talking about international travel with Chelsea Handler on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!). While Handler has been able to enjoy Australia, which Liu has only seen on quick press junkets, Liu's five or six weeks in China was enough to get Handler jealous. She was there filming 'The Man With the Iron Fists,' a film written by Wu-Tang Clan's RZA and Eli Roth. Liu stars with Russell Crowe and Pam Grier in the film, but she was able to enjoy the culture as she found the time. Also, she admitted to speaking Mandarin Chinese, which was helpful.
Handler then asked her to say "Welcome to 'Chelsea Lately'" in Chinese, and Liu did so.
Luke Rescues Rae on 'Marry Me' Finale (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Dec 14th 2010 10:50AM
Rae Ann Carter (Lucy Liu) has always wanted the fairy-tale romance. On 'Marry Me' (Mon., 9PM ET on LIFETIME), she's in demand, having received three marriage proposals from three different men. And now she finds herself in a castle -- how much more romantic can it get?Well, she's trapped in a castle, of sorts. When Luke and Immy find her, she explains, "I broke the key off in the lock... Just get me out of here!"
Luke stops to ponder strategy. "Are you really going to spend time on this? Take it off its hinges! It's in every action movie ever made," says Immy. Luke replies, "OK, Bruce Willis."
But this is a rom-com TV movie, and that proves to be much easier said than done. However, lucky for Rae, she still gets some romance: Her handsome prince rescues her in the end.
Rae (Lucy Liu) Gets a Surprise Proposal on 'Marry Me' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Dec 13th 2010 9:00AM
In part one of the TV movie 'Marry Me' (Sun., 9PM ET on LIFETIME), Rae Ann (Lucy Liu) discovers that -- very suddenly -- she's a wanted woman. As in, wanted in marriage. She and her family are waiting in a hospital's maternity ward when Luke gets down on one knee. Her mother squeals, "Look what's about to happen!" But she assures her mom he's not about to pop the question.
"Rae, will you go on a first date with me?" he inquires. She chuckles and answers, "Yes." He continues, "And then, will you marry me?" and whips out a huge engagement ring.
Her mother screams in the background as he slips the ring on Rae's finger. She's utterly speechless. Just then, Jeff runs into the room and shouts, "It's a girl!" The ultrasound was wrong. The family rushes down the hall to see the new mom and baby, leaving Luke still down on one knee, waiting for Rae's reply.
(The film's last half airs tonight.)

ABC Planning 'Charlie's Angels' Remake
by Jane Murphy, posted Nov 13th 2009 11:16AM
ABC is said to be looking at jiggle juggernaut 'Charlie's Angels' for a return to television. The network is enjoying healthy numbers for 'V,' their remake of NBC's sci-fi opus from 1983. It's one thing to retune a cult favorite, but the Angels have already homered on the big screen and small. Can lightning strike thrice?
Dirty Sexy Money: The Verdict
by Erin Martell, posted Nov 6th 2008 12:40AM

(S02E05) That was more like it! Just as I was about to write off this week's episode as another bland installment of Dirty Sexy Money, down came an embarrassment of primetime soap riches. Letitia's trial was resolved with the kind of speed only possible in TV-land, and we got a cliffhanger and three major shocks to boot! Read on for the details.
Dirty Sexy Money: The Star Witness
by Erin Martell, posted Oct 23rd 2008 9:25AM

(S02E03) We already know what it's like to be a Darling: lavish parties, vast conspiracies, and emotional outbursts. This week's episode gave us some insight into what it's like to be a George: same psychological problems, less money. Letitia's upcoming trial brought Nick face-to-face with someone from his past, and this person had quite a story to tell.
Dirty Sexy Money: The Family Lawyer
by Erin Martell, posted Oct 9th 2008 8:29AM

(S02E02) The Darlings had to bury one of their own this week, and they sent the deceased off in style. Sure, the eulogy was written about someone else and some of the mourners were arrested, but that's part of the fun of these events. The rest of the episode was business as usual--power struggles, inappropriate sexual partners, and suitcases filled with cash. No complaints here.
Dirty Sexy Money: The Birthday Present (season premiere)
by Erin Martell, posted Oct 2nd 2008 12:42AM

(S02E01) The Darlings are back! Despite all the behind-the-scenes personnel and casting changes, Dirty Sexy Money appears to be better than ever. Loyal fans were rewarded with a major development in last season's murder mystery, and the premiere gave new viewers plenty of reasons to come back for more. Season One feels like it ended ages ago, but "The Birthday Present" was the perfect refresher course in the elements of this gorgeous, twisted world.
Dirty Sexy Money and Private Practice panels: Lots of resetting going on - TCA Report
by Joel Keller, posted Jul 18th 2008 10:44AM
The photo to the right is of Dirty Sexy Money (and Eli Stone and Brothers & Sisters) EP Greg Berlanti, from the ABC show-runner panel. The reason why I post it is because ABC doesn't have any web-ready photos of either the DSM or the Private Practice panels for download, many hours after both panels. This despite promises that they would have web-ready pictures from the press tour up quickly. OK, cranky rant over.Anyway, the panels for the two sophomore Wednesday shows didn't reveal all that much in the way of new info. We found out a little about what both Berlanti and PP creator Shonda Rhimes have in store, and how they deal with returning from such a long break (ABC held back the two shows and Pushing Daisies after the strike, making plans to restart in the fall).
Ask Dirty Sexy Money stars a question for Outside the Box
by Kelly Woo, posted Jul 10th 2008 4:21PM
AOL TV's new video interview series, Outside the Box, takes questions from you (the fans) and poses them to the stars of the hottest shows. We already asked you to submit questions for the stars of Scrubs. Next up will be Peter Krause and Lucy Liu of Dirty Sexy Money.
While DSM's first season was tragically cut short by the writers' strike, the 10 episodes that did air were full of frothy fun. And that cast! Krause, Liu (who's new for the second season), Donald Sutherland, Jill Clayburgh, Billy Baldwin, Glenn Fitzgerald ... and I could go on. And if you don't quite remember where the show left off, read Erin's review of the season finale.
So, if you're wondering what's in store for Dirty Sexy Money, what Liu's character will be like and if we'll ever find out who killed Nick George's dad ... submit your questions in the comments below by Tuesday, July 15. Be sure to include your first name and your city and state. Good luck.
