by Maggie Furlong, posted Aug 9th 2010 4:00PM
Marc Anthony is known for his singing career and his high-profile marriage to Jennifer Lopez, but the man can act too. He shows up on TNT's 'HawthoRNe' this week (Tues., Aug. 10, 9PM ET) and again next week as a possible love interest for Jada Pinkett Smith's Christina Hawthorne. As we reported back in April, Anthony will play Nick Renata, a straight-laced cop who meets Christina while investigating a child abduction.
We caught up with Anthony to hear all about working with Jada, being the set's errand boy and whether or not we'll see him on TV again soon.

Jennifer Lopez on Raising Bilingual Children (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 21st 2010 1:00PM
According to Jennifer Lopez, raising her two-year old twins to be bilingual is made easier by her nanny, who speaks to the children in Spanish, while she and husband Marc Anthony speak to them predominately in English, she said on 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS). "You know, what helps so much is we have somebody who helps out with the babies every day. They have a nanny and she speaks only to them in Spanish and we speak mostly English. But they know everything. My boy counts to ten in English and Spanish. My girl asks for agua ... They mix it up," Lopez said.

J-Lo nixes idea of replacing Paula on Idol
by Allison Waldman, posted Jul 27th 2009 7:03PM
File this one under the header, "Thanks but no thanks." According to reps for J-Lo, Jennifer Lopez will not replace Paula Abdul on American Idol. Apparently, there's a hot rumor out there that Jennifer had some interest in taking over in light of the lack of progress in Paula's negotiations with the producers for her return. This sounds like a bunch of malarchy. Jennifer Lopez has no need to appear on American Idol as a judge. She's got a thriving career -- something Abdul did not have when she got the Idol gig in 2002. For J-Lo to plunk herself on American Idol would likely impede her career, although it would give her lots of visibility.
What's J Lo's wedding video worth? Videonappers think $1 mil will do.

How much would you pay to get your wedding video back from the hands of evil videonappers? The guys who
stole Jennifer Lopez and Marc
Anthony's wedding video thought they'd get a cool mil off the famous couple, but all they're getting for their
troubles is some time in the slammer. Apparently the bad guys snagged the video after they found it on Marc Anthony's
laptop, which was stolen along with the car it was in last October. The car was recovered but the laptop
wasn't.
