Former Beverly Hills, 90210 heartthrob Jason Priestley will co-star in a new pilot being developed for the Lifetime network. It's called Side Order of Life and it centers around a character named Jenny who reevaluates her upcoming marriage and her job after learning that a close friend has cancer. Priestley will play her fiance, whose priorities are a little misguided. For example, when Jenny suggests postponing the wedding, her fiance's first concern is with getting the deposit back.

Also cast in Side Order of Life are Marisa Coughlan, who plays the lead role of Jenny; Christopher Gartin, who has had guest-starring roles on various network programs; and Diana-Maria Riva, who is currently playing Matt Albie's assistant, Lilly, on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. No air date has been announced for Side Order of Life.
