The Golden Box on 'White Collar' (VIDEO)
A mysterious music box. An untimely death. And is there a way to solve it all?[Spoiler alert.]
We're back for the season premiere of 'White Collar' (Tue., 9PM ET on USA). At the end of the previous season, Kate (Alexandra Daddario) was killed during an explosion on a private jet. Now, Neal (Matt Bomer) is trying to solve her death. But the solution leads him to the mysterious music box that has plagued him during the previous season.
And just when Neal starts to think that he has everything figured out, it is revealed that his friend Diana (Marsha Thomason) had the music box all along. What will happen next?
Marsha Thomason is Returning to 'White Collar'
Last week on the season finale of 'White Collar,' former regular cast member Marsha Thomason made an appearance on the show as Agent Diana Lancing. That wasn't just a one-time return to the show, she's coming back full-time next season. This is an interesting turn of events. Thomason was in the pilot but then vanished from the show and a new agent played by Natalie Morales joined the cast. But I don't know if Morales has ever fit in. They don't really give her much to do on the show. Not that they give the supporting agents a lot to do on the show anyway, but Morales especially has been underused.
'White Collar' creator Jeff Eastin confirms on Twitter that Morales will be leaving the show.
'White Collar' - 'Out of the Box' Recap (season finale)

(S01E14) "I think there's a difference between loving the idea of someone and actually loving them." - Elizabeth
I'm going to say that this was the best episode of 'White Collar' since the pilot. Maybe it's because it was a season finale and the stakes are higher and a lot of things come to a head, but that's not always the case with last episodes of a season for a TV show. But this one had everything you could possibly want in a season finale: an intricate caper, witty dialogue, heartfelt moments, Peter being suspended, double crosses, Diahann Carroll with an important role in the plot, and even a surprising explosion (though I saw it coming -- not sure why). This was a really nice way to end the season.
It also had the return of an old character from the show ... and it's not just a one-time thing.
TV Casting: Heidi Klum, Paulina Porizkova to Pose for 'Desperate Housewives'
Heidi Klum and Paulina Porizkova will reportedly guest on an upcoming episode of 'Desperate Housewives.' The supermodels will play themselves in the episode, airing in March, when Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) and Angie (Drea de Matteo) run into them in New York City. Somehow, we doubt they'll be on their best model behavior. [E!]More casting news after the jump.
Review: White Collar - Book of Hours

(S01E03) "I like my miracles with more smiting and lightning." - Burke
Would the FBI really help a bad guy get a church Bible back? Sure, it turned out to be a very important Bible, but the way that Barelli just comes into the FBI and asks for their help in getting the book back and the chief takes him seriously from the get-go didn't ring true to me. Sure, Burke told him to just go to the local police, but then the chief pulls him aside and says that he doesn't need the Archdiocese breathing down his neck about it. That just seemed like a way for the writers to justify the plot in the first place.
Lost: The Complete Fourth Season -- DVD review - VIDEO
Ah, Season Four. You were so good to us, even though you were slightly shorted by that pesky writers strike. Lost wasn't as impacted as a lot of other shows because the creators had already gotten the okay to do three shorter seasons before any of this happened. Sure they lost a little bit of time, but not enough to have really impacted the show. And Season Four gave us such pivotal moments. The introduction of the freighties, including some really good and interesting characters. The return of Michael. The identities of the Oceanic Six. An in-depth examination of what happened to them after the island in more flash forwards. The man in the cabin. Ben moves the island. And the identity of the man in the casket. So much happened in fourteen short episodes, but still that's not enough. To fill out the set, we've got two full discs of extras.
Marsha Thomason on her mysterious Lost role
Lost's Marsha Thomason may have gotten more screen time in Wednesday's "Greatest Hits," but her character remains a mystery to viewers. In an interview with The Trades, the actress discussed her first scenes as Naomi, her previous TV roles, and getting along with the show's cast and crew. Here are the highlights:- Thomason has known co-star Dominic Monaghan for a long time, and was glad that her first Lost scenes were with him.
Lost: The Man Behind the Curtain
(S03E20) Ben celebrates his birthday in odd ways, doesn't he? We finally got a glimpse of Ben's personal history with the island and with his father. Yet another Lost character with Daddy issues! I think I would have issues, too, if my Dad was Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite. The Beach
I'm going to get this story line out of the way first since the real action this week was in the jungle. Thanks to Sawyer, the rest of the 815ers were alerted to Naomi's presence and to Juliet's plans. We also got to hear Ben's response to Juliet's latest report. When Juliet told Sawyer to play the rest of the tape, I was expecting its contents to make her appear more sympathetic, not less. I suppose honesty was her only option at that point.
Lost: What Naomi really said
Naomi, the mysterious parachutist, said some mind-blowing things to the crash survivors in "D.O.C." Besides the bizarre news that someone had found the 815 wreckage and its dead passengers, she revealed that she's multilingual. Over the course of the episode, she spoke Chinese, English, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. She also had a secret conversation with Mikhail.
Lost fans have been busy translating Naomi's statements from Wednesday's episode. TV Squad's Brigitte Dale and many others have pointed out that Mikhail lied about Naomi thanking him. She actually said "I am not the only one." As if the plane crash news wasn't strange enough! Her statement could be interpreted several ways, depending on who she's working with. At the very least, it sounds like someone else could have landed on the island.
Lost: D.O.C.
(S03E18) I don't know about you, but the last scene in that episode kind of freaked me out. Naomi the parachutist had better do some talking next week. Creepy revelations aside, how incredible was Yunjin Kim's performance? Between Sun's overall awesomeness and Jin's fighting skills, those two deserve their own spin-off. I haven't loved the Sun-Jin episodes in the past, but this one was amazing!
The Flashback
A long time ago, Sun and Jin were the cutest newlyweds ever. I couldn't stop grinning as they flirted and declared that they loved each other "madly." Their early happiness only makes their later troubles more depressing. The couple barely had time to enjoy moving into their first apartment before dealing with their first crisis.
Marsha Thomason: In the Limelight
Last week, Marsha Thomason made her debut on the ABC series Lost as Naomi the parachutist. Even though she didn't have much screen time in last week's episode, Thomason's role will expand in tonight's episode and is even said to drop a bombshell on the survivors. When spoilers about her role first leaked, it was said that the character would be a regular. It is unknown if she will in fact be a regular or a recurring cast member. One thing is sure, Marsha Thomason will appear in most, if not all, of the remaining episodes of the season and, if the fans respond better to her character than they did to Nikki and Paulo, she may still be around in Season 3.Many Lost fans may wonder who Marsha Thomason is but Las Vegas fans know exactly who she is. Thomason was a regular on the NBC series for a few years until her character abruptly left the show.
