Howard Stern to interview Martha Stewart tomorrow
I don't think this is on the level of something like, say, Jay Leno appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman, but it's still something I didn't think I'd see: Martha Stewart interviewed by Howard Stern. She'll be on his Sirius Satellite radio show tomorrow.
Sure, they're both part of Sirius and it's good synergy, but it's still rather interesting. They seem to be very, um, let's just say "different' types of people. The questions that Stern asks, especially on Sirius...will he be that bold and blunt with Martha? Will he ask about her sex life? Will she swear? Will she go after Donald Trump? I can't really imagine he's going to ask her questions about making the perfect Christmas decorations or how to bake the perfect apple pie.
Stern was on The Late Show last night, dressed as Santa (or, more accurately, Father Christmas), and gave free Sirius radios to Dave, Paul, and everyone in the audience.
Does Martha Stewart give her audience food?
If you're a regular watcher of Martha Stewart's daily show, you might be able to help me with this.
After she cooks her food, does she give any of it to the audience? I ask this because I know that Rachael Ray gives members of the audience the food that she is making, or at least gives them to her guests (the shows are on at the same time here in Boston and I like to switch between the two, to see the controlled tension of Martha and the absolutely hyper chaos of Rachael). Emeril gives his food to his audience, and The View always seems to have some kind of snack food for their audience since Rosie joined the crew.
I'm wondering if Martha gives the stuff to her audience or wraps it up and takes it home. Martha seems to make just once specific item (a dessert or a side dish), while Rachael makes a meal. Anyone know?
David Letterman gives Martha Stewart the finger
This is all for you folks who just live for saying things like "MARTHA STEWART SUX!!"
If you watched The Late Show With David Letterman on Monday night like I did, you were probably shocked too. Martha was one of his guests, and she showed him how to make "puzzle" peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for kids to take to school (side note: this looked needless and messy, and would probably even make 8 year olds say "why the hell did Mom make this for me?"). It involved cookie cutters, and she asked Dave to make one of the sandwiches, and he proceeded to have trouble with it, and even seemed to cut his finger on the cookie cutter. Or did he? Some people are saying it was blood (which I thought at first), but it actually might have been jelly. Whatever it was, Martha proceeded to suck it off of Dave's finger.
I kid you not. Check out the video. Oh, Martha!
