In Further Late Night Smooching News: Brian Austin Green Kisses Jimmy Kimmel (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Dec 8th 2010 5:21AM
Late night talk show guests seem to be getting a little overly lusty these days. Already tonight, we've seen Dame Helen Mirren kissing Jay Leno. But that was nothing. On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC), we experienced some full-blown guy-on-guy making out ... as Brian Austin Green gave Jimmy Kimmel a very hearty smooch on the lips. And unlike Helen Mirren, Mr. Green didn't dilly-dally or procrastinate. No, his mind was made up as soon as he walked onto the stage. Brian strode confidently up to Mr. Kimmel, grabbed his cheeks -- then planted a big wet kiss right on his face.
After this, there was some debate about whether the pair had ever kissed before. Brian says they did; Jimmy says they didn't. We never fully resolved the issue, though we did learn this -- according to Brian, Jimmy Kimmel is a very tender lover: "You're passionate; you're a soft kisser." Aw. How ... sweet.
Lynda Carter Calls Out Megan Fox For Trashing Wonder Woman (VIDEO)
by Jeremy Taylor, posted Nov 8th 2010 5:48PM
Appearing on 'Fox & Friends' (weekdays, 6 AM ET on Fox News), Lynda Carter, the actress who played the original Wonder Woman, had a strong reaction to Brain Kilmeade's suggestion that Megan Fox would make a great Wonder Woman in the potential reboot."Megan Fox actually kind of trashed Wonder Woman," Carter interjected. "She thought it was dumb . . . because what's the big whoop, making people tell the truth?"
Brian Austin Green Likes Lois Lane on 'Smallville' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Apr 18th 2010 10:20PM
One of the downsides to hanging out with Superman is that you may occasionally get hit on by a supervillain. On 'Smallville' (Fri., 8PM ET on The CW), Lois Lane (Erica Durance) gets a taste of this when Metallo (Brian Austin Green) puts the moves on her. Sure, he's cute. But he's a cyborg with a Kryptonite-powered heart who hates Superman -- not really the best catch.Watch the video after the jump.
Did Megan Fox Have a 'Thumb Double' in her Super Bowl Ad?
by Danny Gallagher, posted Feb 12th 2010 7:25AM
The Internet has been buzzing over Megan Fox's bathtub ad for Motorola during the Super Bowl... about her thumb?!? (sigh) Oh Internet, will you never learn? Apparently, rumors are growing that the makers of the commercial had a hand model serve for the bathing beauty (literally! Wocka, Wocka!) because of her condition, brachydactyly, better known as "clubbed thumb."
Asylum's Brett Smiley compared images from the commercial to Fox's actual hands and found some alarming differences. He also called the cell phone giant for an explanation and was met with a thousand variations of the phrase "It's part of our corporate policy not to comment on rumor or speculation."
Diablo Cody thinks a Jennifer's Body series would be "amazing"
by Joel Keller, posted Jan 22nd 2010 3:02PM
About a month ago, our friends at CliqueClack listed five reasons why Diablo Cody's thriller Jennifer's Body should be made into a television series. They seemed to list some compelling reasons, especially the fact that it would play well with fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So when Cody was at the TCAs to promote the upcoming season of her Showtime hit United States of Tara, I decided to ask her about the prospect as she got off-stage.
"I had never heard that," she replied. "That would be amazing."
When I asked her if the show would appeal to Buffy fans, she asked, "Did the original Buffy movie do well in the theaters?" When we said it didn't, she shot back in self-deprecating fashion: "This could be the perfect metaphor, then."
What's Hot on Inside Movies: Quoting Megan Fox, Catching Up With Verne Troyer, and How to Survive an Apocalypse

Time to put down the remote, dust the crumbs off our shirts and check in with our big screen brethren over at Inside Movies.Have a burning question for Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker? Who doesn't? Find out how you can submit your question to be featured when the actors visit Moviefone's Unscripted set. ( Psst ... You can ask them anything!)
There's plenty of buzz surrounding Jason Reitman's new film 'Up in the Air," and so Inside Movies took some time to talk with Vera Farmiga about her and Geroge Clooney's electric on-set chemistry.
Which CBS Show Should Get the Post-Super Bowl Slot? (Team 'How I Met Your Mother'!)
by Chris O'Connell, posted Nov 13th 2009 12:25PM
CBS has an important decision to make: Which of their programs will follow the Super Bowl in an effort to grab the incredibly high ratings that the NFL championship game inevitably gets every year?Does the network choose a comedy, like NBC would do with 'Friends' after Super Bowl XXX, one that featured guest stars like Brooke Shields, Chris Isaak, Jean-Claude Van Damme and more? Or does CBS do what Fox did after Super Bowl XLII -- aka the greatest Super Bowl ever, featuring the New York Giants upsetting the undefeated Patriots -- and air an hour-long drama like 'House'?
Whatever CBS decides, we implore them not to complete the trifecta and air a third post-Super Bowl episode of Survivor. It's time for some fresh blood.
Scream Awards Preview: A Fox-y Apology, Shatner Shenanigans and More
by Leonard Jacobs, posted Oct 27th 2009 2:30PM
Terror, cold sweats, hot flashes and adrenalin shots may sound like last week's 'Grey's Anatomy' plotline, but these conditions also were on display at the Scream Awards, Spike TV's fourth annual fete of filmdom's best in science fiction and horror. Handed out at the Greek Theatre in L.A. on Oct. 17, the telecast airs on the network on Oct. 27 at 10PM EDT. We won't ruin the fun by giving a rundown of all the winners (though -- SPOILER ALERT! -- we do mention some), but here's a quick primer for tonight's telecast, with a few highlights that might make the show DVR-worthy.Saturday Night Live: Megan Fox/U2 (season premiere)
by Annie Wu, posted Sep 27th 2009 3:03AM
(S35E01) Alternate title for this post: "New girl's f-bomb overshadows Megan Fox's slammin' bod."Yes, Saturday Night Live new girl Jenny Slate's f-bomb was the most thrilling part of the show's otherwise bland 35th season premiere. It's not like we've never heard that word before, and it's not like accidental verbal naughtiness has never happened on SNL (I still distinctly remember my extra-young self watching Cheri Oteri cringing as she contributed to the swear jar), but the pain still felt fresh with hot embarrassment.
This was partially due to the fact that it's just a generally bad thing to have happen on a player's first show (and in such a mediocre sketch, at that) but mostly because of this face that she made after she caught her boo-boo. Twitter exploded with people's camera phone pics of this one moment.
Jenny Slate, welcome to the big time.

The folks at our sister site Cinematical are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:
- It sounds like the movie Whiteout is a prime example of pretty good source material getting made into a pretty crappy movie.
- Fat Matt Damon! Check out the review for The Informant.
- A Photoshop contest with Disney/Marvel hybrids? Brilliant.
- "The queen of talking trailer trash and posing like a porn star." Give yourself a cookie if you guessed that the person being talked about is Megan Fox. Apparently the Transformers crew are not huge fans.
- Apparently The Sorcerer's Apprentice has something to do with 9/11? I don't know, ask Nicolas Cage.
U2 reportedly to join Megan Fox for the SNL season premiere
by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 4th 2009 2:32PM
It looks like Megan Fox hosting the season premiere of Saturday Night Live is all but officially confirmed by the folks behind the show. And now we've gotten word that U2 will be the first musical guest for the new season of SNL. They're in the midst of their U2 360 world tour promoting their latest album, No Line on the Horizon.I don't know if U2 has the same kind of pull on the kids today as they have had on my generation through the years, but in my eyes this is a pretty significant "get" for one of NBC's marquee shows.

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 23rd 2009 12:29PM
Now, either Megan Fox will be hosting the premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 26th, or the Internets are just taking this unconfirmed story from Life & Style Weekly and running with it. I hope she does host it, and I hope they let her go unscripted in her monologue, because if there's one thing Fox does do funny, it's try and speak intelligently. At least we'll get the chance to remember what an amazing actress she is. Don't get me wrong, I teared up several times at the depth of her portrayal of Mikaela Banes in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. When she was climbing all over that motorcycle with her ass hanging out of this shorts (right), you could really feel an emotional connection to the anguish her character was feeling at the thought of her boyfriend leaving for college.
Actually, Fox may be an amazing actress. Certainly she must have elevated Hope & Faith to new heights because I didn't even know she was in it. At least she's hot. I'm sure that's what most of the sketches would focus on anyway.
Cinematical, TV Squad's detached fraternal siamese twin, also at Comic-Con

Even though TV Squad's very own John Scott Lewinski is fighting his way through hordes of overweight Rorschachs and pre-pubescent Chun Lis to get exclusive interviews and scoops on the newest TV news at the San Diego Comic Con, don't forget that our partners-in-crime from Cinematical are also there covering the latest flim-flam in film.
The movie side of the annual pop-culture cavalcade opened with one of the biggest names in the history of film and what could very well be one of the biggest names in the future of film. Director James Cameron screened a solid 25 minutes of his forthcoming sci-fi epic Avatar. Blogger Todd Gilchrist got a hint of the plot and special effects movie-goers can expect when the film hits theaters later this year and said it "promises to be both hugely entertaining and technically groundbreaking." Man, that's got me worried. That's what they also said about Titanic.

The folks at our sister site Cinematical are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:
- I have never been so terrified to see a movie until I started reading about Food, Inc. There are some things that I feel I have to learn about, but I'm just so scared to. Read Cinematical's review of Food, Inc. and see if you're as terrified as I am.
- I think it was Rob Huebel who Tweeted the other day something along the lines of, "If John Travolta called me personally and told me to go see The Taking of Pelham 123, I wouldn't go. And I'd ask how he got my number." I couldn't agree more. Read the review here.
- I actually didn't like the train scene in Spiderman 2. Cinematical disagrees with me though, and lists it on their Cinematical Seven: Terrific Train Thrills.
- I love this list: Great Movies You Won't Watch More Than Once. There are so many for me, and I definitely agree with the majority's consensus of Requiem for a Dream. Once was more than enough for me.
- Angelina Jolie doesn't need to worry about being replaced anymore. Turns out, Megan Fox doesn't actually exist, and is all CGI.
