ABC Family gave us a total blast from the past tonight with the welcome return of Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence to our screens; for a minute, it felt like we were back in the '90s.

While 'Melissa & Joey' doesn't have the inherent charm of 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,' 'Clarissa Explains It All' or 'Blossom,' it does have nascent promise, thanks to the two leads, who still look fresh-faced and fairly adorable. The plot is easily reminiscent of 'Who's the Boss,' which seems to be a prerequisite reference in every review, but it's obvious that a show like this will hinge on the chemistry between the two stars, who are still trying to find their footing in the pilot.

You know her from 'Clarissa Explains It All' and 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch,' he's still getting "Whoa!" from his days on 'Blossom' and they've both gone 'Dancing With the Stars,' but now Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence are back on TV and teaming up for a new show.

But don't worry -- 'Melissa & Joey' (premieres Tues., Aug. 17, 8PM ET on ABC Family) isn't a reality show about two child actors whose careers survived. It's a sitcom that thrusts both of them into more adult roles: her as a career gal with custody of her niece and nephew, and him as their manny by default.

I caught up with Melissa and Joey to hear about their new show, dream guest stars, which actors they'd hire as a manny, growing up in Hollywood, loving Twitter and more.
