His Schweddy Balls are already the stuff of legend, and now 'Saturday Night Live' frequent flyer Alec Baldwin is set to break the long-running show's hosting record.

Baldwin is currently tied with Steve Martin for the 'SNL' record after he hosted the show for the 15th time last year. However, executive producer Lorne Michaels told reporters that Baldwin is now set to break Martin's record by hosting the Season 37 premiere in the fall.

'Mike & Molly' star Melissa McCarthy is lined up to host the second episode of the new season.

Baldwin pulls double duty as the star of Michaels' other NBC show, '30 Rock,' which is, of course, a fictionalized version of 'SNL.'

It was a wild week on the TV landscape. Vincent Pastore and Danielle Staub yelled at each other like 'Desperate Housewives.' Kathie Lee threw a wine bottle at a 'Today Show' crew-member. Melissa McCarthy found out about her first ever Emmy nomination on live TV. Bristol Palin kept talking about losing her virginity to Levi Johnston -- and thank god Don Rickles was there this time to provide color commentary. Jesse Tyler Ferguson proved that he might have a future as a reality show judge.

Melissa McCarthy was on live TV when she learned about her 2011 Emmy nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

McCarthy and Joshua Jackson announced the nominees on a broadcast carried by 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM on ABC). It's safe to say McCarthy was surprised.

After Jackson read the lead actress nominees, a flustered McCarthy had to read the lead actor nominees.

"Okay," she said, breathing deeply, "keep it together." She did, indeed, keep her composure, though she seemed like she wanted to shout and celebrate while reading the actors' names. Click here for a complete list of the Emmy nominees.

He may have a starring role in a hit television sitcom, but Billy Gardel told 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) that he has no delusions of stardom. His co-star, Melissa McCarthy, though? Gardell says she's famous now after stealing the show in the 'Bridesmaids' movie.

"I'm still getting those looks like they're not sure," he explained. "I get that look on the street like, 'Are you on TV or did you fix our toilet? I know I know you from somewhere.'"

If that's the case now, it's only going to be a matter of time before Gardell's face is known by more people. If nothing else, McCarthy's success in 'Bridesmaids' could draw more viewers to the second season of 'Mike & Molly' this fall, which would help Gardell's star rise as well. It's a win-win-win (the third one is for us, because we get another season of their irresistible adorableness).

Goldie Hawn is readying her return to TV in an unusually named project: HBO's 'Viagra Diaries.'

According to Deadline, Hawn has been tapped to star in the half-hour comedy from 'Sex and the City' creator Darren Star. Hawn and Star will executive produce the project based on the book by Barbara Rose Brooker.

The pilot follows a woman, played by Hawn, whose husband leaves her, making her single for the first time in 35 years.

This will be Hawn's first role since the 2002 film 'The Banger Sisters.' The Oscar winner got her start on TV with 'Good Morning, World' and 'Laugh-In.'

'Mike & Molly' star Melissa McCarthy and host Chelsea Handler swapped tips for making their co-stars crack up, on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!).

McCarthy had stopped by to talk about her new movie, 'Bridesmaids,' and said that she'd gone after one particular actress "pretty hard."

After Chelsea said that "when I'm on set I like to make people not say their lines right," McCarthy confessed that she'd targeted Rose Byrne, who plays the "Stepfordish" Helen in the movie.

There's nothing like the first long weekend together. On 'Mike & Molly' (9:30PM ET on CBS), the pair enjoys a two-day getaway as a new couple, doing all the "standard" romantic things: having sex, talking about feet ... rolling around on top of popcorn. (Note: your own "standard" romantic experience may differ from Mike and Molly's.)

Things are going well, as policeman Mike Biggs (Billy Gardell) spends some "sexy time" with teacher Molly Flynn. But when the weekend is over, Mike has trouble letting go. Not that this presents a huge problem for Molly (Melissa McCarthy).

When it's time for Molly to leave, Mike makes an impromptu speech, listing his favorite things about their time together -- which includes the pair eating "kettle corn" ... in bed. He continues: "My favorite part of this weekend was waking up in the morning, seeing you laying next to me ... your tiny feet popping out of the covers. ... The 'other stuff' was great, but that's the memory I'll be keeping 'right here,'" Mike says, pointing to his heart.

It's always nice if you have a great story about how you first met to tell the kids later. 'Mike & Molly' (Mon. 9:30PM on CBS) have a long way to go before they reach that stage of the relationship but they've definitely got a story to tell.

Creator Mark Roberts and executive producer Chuck Lorre ('Two and a Half Men,' 'The Big Bang Theory') wanted to present a comedy that more accurately reflected the America we see outside our windows rather than the one reflected back to us from our televisions.

Enter Mike Biggs (Billy Gardell) and Molly Flynn (Melissa McCarthy), two overweight singles who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting.

It's interesting that in E! Online's announcement about 'Precious' star Gabourey Sidibe being asked to host an upcoming episode of 'Saturday Night Live,' their writer referenced a couple of disrespectful quotes Howard Stern had made about Sidibe in early March. Stern makes a living by saying things that push the envelope of good taste, but these words seem to have resonated a bit more than usual.

"There's the most enormous, fat black chick I've ever seen," he said. "She is enormous. Everyone's pretending she's a part of show business and she's never going to be in another movie." He even took on Oprah Winfrey, who's certainly no stranger to weight struggles or lasting success. "Oprah's another liar, a filthy liar. She's telling an enormous woman the size of a planet that she's going to have a career."

Looking into future for CBS comedy, it seems likely that Chuck Lorre will be a part of it. He's already the key component in the success of 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'Two and a Half Men,' so chances are the Tiffany network would like to see what he has in store next. That will probably be 'Mike and Molly,' a pilot that is currently in production starring Billy Gardell as a fat, charming cop who meets the girl of his dreams at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting.

The girl, Molly, is going to be played by Melissa McCarthy. The fact that Melissa McCarthy will be in 'Mike and Molly' has made me want to watch it. How great is it that Sookie from 'Gilmore Girls' is getting the star turn! For fans of 'Gilmore Girls,' Sookie was always an adorable sidekick to Lorelai, and Melissa McCarthy was wonderful in the role. She was equally kooky and lovable on 'Samantha Who?' as Dena. I have no doubt that she's going be be terrific on 'Mike and Molly.'

(S01E15) "It's my birthday?" - Sam

Even if it wasn't an earth-shattering or intense episode, Samantha Who?'s season finale was satisfying. The episode wrapped up the Chloe/Todd relationship, clarified where Sam and Todd stand, and gave Sam another clean slate (she got the first one after when she woke up from the coma with amnesia). It also marked the first time that all series regulars shared a scene together.

(S01E14) "My mother is having an affair." - Samantha

How fun is it to watch the Newlys interact? I enjoyed this week's episode because it mainly focused on the weird trio that Samantha forms with her parents. Those of you who've been reading my Samantha Who? reviews regularly know how my I love Regina because of her snarky lines and craziness. After "The Affair," Howard is definitely growing on me.
