Meredith Vieira Gets Lip-Dub 'Don't Stop Believing' Send-Off on 'Today' (VIDEO)

Matt Lauer sitting at a piano lip-synching Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing' would be an odd sight on your average edition of 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC). Even stranger? Abe Vigoda waiting in the green room to hug Meredith Vieira, also dancing, kind of, to Journey. That was just for starters Wednesday as a mix of 'Today' staff members and celebrities got together to give Vieira a farewell lip-dub send-off on her last day.Everyone wore a T-shirt with their first name, then a symbol, and then "Meredith" emblazoned on the front. Vieira was led through the studio and eventually out into the street by Ann Curry, Al Roker, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb at different points. Jimmy Fallon showed up to mime the guitar solo on a Fender Stratocaster while leading the parade.
It all ended with a large group of people in the street singing to Vieira as Vigoda embraced her. It was obviously a surprise for Vieira, who cried and laughed the whole way through. And Vigoda looked pretty nimble, too.
