MGM Grand COO Makes a Huge Mistake Working Tables on 'Undercover Boss' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 21st 2011 1:56AM
Scott Sibella, COO of MGM Grand, 'Undercover Boss'Scot Sibella, COO of the MGM Grand, learned first-hand how difficult some of the jobs are in his casino on 'Undercover Boss' (Sun., 9PM ET on CBS). Working the roulette table, he saw how difficult it can be to take money away from people, especially when you're screwing up the spin.

The patrons even started giving him a hard time about it, rolling their eyes. One guy even told him he needed to spin the wheel faster. Unfortunately for them, a bad spin still nets a result, and so their losses are still real.

Then, frustrated at how he was performing, and the emotional pressure of the people facing him, Sibella committed the ultimate casino no-no. He put his hand in his pocket.

Fans Can Investigate 'CSI' at MGM Grand Las Vegas

by John Scott Lewinski, posted Feb 28th 2010 3:14PM
You get to inspect the crime scene at MGM Grand Las Vegas' CSI: The Experience.Fans of the original 'CSI' can try their hand at solving a murder right in the middle of the massive MGM Grand Las Vegas.

'CSI: The Experience' offers visitors families (and other visitors looking to escape the constant "dinging" and "blooping" of slot machines) a chance to follow a simulated murder case from the initial crime scene to a selection of the most likely suspect.

While the attraction's designers struggled in vain to make it a compelling and vibrant way to kill an hour or so, the exhibit is essentially a course in basic forensic science and observation.

On a recent trip to Vegas and the MGM on business, I decided to scoop up my magnifying glass (which I always take with me on vacation) and give it a try.
