by Donald Deane, posted Dec 21st 2009 8:07AM
Arkansas resident Natalie White was crowned winner of 'Survivor: Samoa' on last night's finale, beating out Texas oil millionaire Russell Hantz and L.A. doctor Mick Trimming to take the $1 million grand prize and title of "sole survivor."White is a 26-year-old former pharmaceutical saleswoman who quit her job to compete on the show. She has been accused by fellow contestants as riding the coattails of Hantz, who played aggressively and dominated for most of 'Survivor's' 19th season. White says it was her strategy to align with a stronger player and maintain a low profile.
