Bristol Palin and "The Situation" Want to Talk to You About Sex (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Nov 18th 2010 1:46AM
Bristol Palin and 'The Situation' Want to Talk to You About SexBristol Palin and "The Situation" were on the same season of 'Dancing With the Stars,' but it's hard to imagine the pair together in any other context. She's the daughter of the most famous conservative politician in America, and he's ... the guy with the abs from 'Jersey Shore.' But now, Palin and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino have teamed up for a video that promotes the value of abstinence and safe sex.

It might be noted that there are two issues here:

1) Bristol is now a spokesperson for abstinence, but is best-known for having an out-of-wedlock child as a teenager. Before becoming an abstinence spokeswoman, she told Fox News that abstinence is "not realistic at all."

"The Situation" appears on a realty show that revolves around his attempts to have sex with random girls in hot tubs.

'South Park' Fights 'Jersey Shore' Invasion'South Park' is never shy about taking on controversial topics. So it makes sense that the show would tackle the most divisive cultural issue of them all. We are referring, of course, to 'Jersey Shore.'

The "guido"-based reality series separates viewers into two opposing camps. People either love 'Jersey Shore' or they hate it. And 'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone made their feelings about the 'Shore' very, very clear.

'Dancing With the Stars' Results: Who Got Voted Off in Week 4?

by Sharon Knolle, posted Oct 13th 2010 4:25AM
Maybe Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino can't dance, but his pecs can: On tonight's 'Dancing With the Stars' results show, the 'Jersey Shore' star flexed his chest muscles, causing Tom Bergeron to joke, "Bruno Tonioli just gave you a 10."

Of course, The Situation hasn't earned anything close to a 10; this week he earned mostly fours. Was his literal heavy-lifting tango with partner Karina Smirnoff enough to keep him in the running?

Keep reading to see if was he, or another star, who left with a literal bow and the words, "I am not a dancer and this is definitely hard."

Kristen Bell Admits to Being a 'Jersey Shore' "Super-Fan" (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Sep 24th 2010 3:20AM
Kristen Bell Admits to Being a 'Jersey Shore' 'Super-Fan'Some people really do like 'Jersey Shore.' (We'll confess to kind of liking it ourselves.) On the other hand, some people really really hate the guido-and-guidette-based show. But even if you are a secret fan of the series, you may be hesitant about admitting this fact in polite society. Liking the 'Shore' is vaguely shameful -- it's considered akin to having bad cultural taste, like admitting that you're a big fan of "Hamburger Helper," fake rhinestones, or Bedazzling.

But luckily, actress Kristen Bell doesn't suffer from any major social inhibitions. And so, on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), she gleefully confesses to being a 'Jersey Shore' "super-fan." "I'm wildly obsessed with the show," Bell gushes. She's seen every episode, and even admits to watching them twice.

'The Situation' Tries to Avoid Getting Kicked Off 'Dancing With the Stars'It seems that a situation is happening. Mike Sorrentino -- now and forevermore known as "The Situation" -- has been having a rough first week on 'Dancing With the Stars.' He landed in a three-way tie for last place, and even though David Hasselhoff was the first contestant kicked off the show, Mike could be the next one eliminated.

On 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS), Sorrentino and his partner Karina Smirnoff showed up to discuss 'DWTS.' And Karina admitted that even she had her doubts about being paired up with the 'Jersey Shore' ab-master. "I'll be honest; when I heard Mike was my partner, I kind of freaked out," she said.

'The Situation' Talks Stripping, and 'Dancing With the Stars'Are we getting tired of seeing 'Jersey Shore' stars show up on talk shows yet? No? Not yet? Well, that's good. Because Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was a guest on 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). And while on the show, The Situation discussed his appearance on the upcoming season of 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Although Mike may not be a classically trained dancer, he does have some background in dance (sort of). The Situation revealed to Jay Leno that he used to work in a strip club. "Were you a male stripper?" Leno asked him. "Not necessarily," Mike replied. Not necessarily? It seems to us that you're either a stripper or you're not -- there's not much in-between there. But Sorrentino went on to explain further.
