Kids Won't Eat Mira Sorvino's Homemade Cake (VIDEO)

by Harley W. Lond, posted May 7th 2010 7:14PM
"Kids! What's the matter with kids today?"

Well, not only is it unlikely that kids today will know that song from 'Bye Bye Birdie,' according to Mira Sorvino on Friday's 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), they won't even eat cake that's not store bought.

Her evidence: "I made a cake last year for my daughter's birthday party at school and I brought it in and some of the other kids wouldn't eat it cause it looked too, sort of, unstore bought," Sorvino said. A couple of the kids even told her, "No, I want the kind that comes from the box in the store."

Crazy kids. They'll regret not accepting cake from Sorvino when they get older. We volunteer!

Mira Sorvino Exposes Herself on 'Martha Stewart' (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 27th 2010 3:00PM
Oops! Mira Sorvino lifts her leg to show Martha Stewart a brace on her foot on 'The Martha Stewart Show' (weekdays, syndicated) and inadvertently exposes herself in the process.

Sorvino explains that she injured herself during ballet and, when she attempts to model her sprained foot for the camera, she leaves little to the imagination. Sorvino makes an attempt to cover herself with her hand, but we get an eyeful nevertheless.

Watch the video after the jump.

How the strike helped House

by Allison Waldman, posted Jun 20th 2008 2:40PM
House-WilsonEven as fear grips the business that there'll be another strike that will lead to a work stoppage, there are some who can look back on the Writer's Strike and actually find a silver lining in that dark cloud. At a recent at the ArcLight Cinemas, sponsored by the L.A. Times, the folks who bring us House, including creator David Shore and director Katie Jacobs, revealed that the strike actually was beneficial for them in a strange way.

Since Fox had the Super Bowl last season, House had been given the plum spot following the game. That always means a huge audience will be watching, and even a show as successful as House wouldn't mind a boost in the ratings.

House: Frozen

by Jen Creer, posted Feb 4th 2008 7:08AM
Cate(S04E11) "Never before has a profession been so decried by someone who needed it so badly," Wilson [about psychiatry] to House.

One of my favorite parts of this episode was the quote I have chosen to put at the beginning of the entry. Wilson accuses House of not liking Cate, the patient, because she is a psychiatrist. House counters that there are many reasons he does not like the patient, and Wilson comes back with that retort. The reason I like it so much isn't because I think it's meant to be about House. I like it so much because I think it's a sneaky little slam on Tom Cruise. Or at least, if that is too much of a stretch, then I like it because it certainly can be applied to Tom Cruise and his very public outcries against psychiatry.
