Chuck will air Mondays at 8, Parenthood at 9
by Bob Sassone, posted Dec 14th 2009 3:31PM
I know, I know, you're thinking to yourself, what about Heroes?NBC has released its midseason schedule, and we can see that Chuck returns on January 11 (after a special two-hour season premiere on January 10) in the Monday at 8PM slot. The new comedy Parenthood will air at 9, but that show doesn't start until March 1. As for Heroes (which currently airs in the Mondays at 8 slot), the season finale (episode 19 in a slightly shortened season) actually airs on Feburary 8.
In other NBC scheduling news, Jerry Seinfeld's new reality show (now there's a sentence that's really painful to write) The Marriage Ref will air Sundays at 9, between Dateline and Celebrity Apprentice, starting on March 14. What that means is that I probably won't be watching NBC on Sunday nights. Not that I watch NBC Sunday nights now when it has NFL football.
My Name Is Earl reruns start airing on TBS in March
by Allison Waldman, posted Feb 21st 2008 5:43PM
TV Squad reported this a while back, so consider this a reminder, all you My Name Is Earl devotees. TBS will begin airing back-to-back episodes of the NBC/Emmy-winning sitcom on Mondays at 10:00 and 10:30 starting March 3rd. This is a chance to catch up on all the episodes from the very beginning. If you don't already know all about Earl's list, the true meaning of Karma, and why the Hickey brothers share a bed, this will fill in the blanks.Everybody Hates Chris picked up for another season - TCA Report
by Joel Keller, posted Jan 19th 2007 12:15PM
At the CW executive session, the lime-green-and-white clad helpers passed out a number of press releases. Among them was the announcement that Everybody Hates Chris is getting a full-season order for the 2007-08 season."Producing one great episode after another, this is a show that we want viewers to associate with the CW. We couldn't be happier to bring it back for another season."
After switching days with 7th Heaven -- Chris now airs Mondays at 8 PM -- the network must have seen evidence that the show was improving, or at least a steady performer. The presence of executive producer Chris Rock probably helped.
By the way, the women are wearing white suits with green shirts, while the men are wearing green blazers, and white shirts and pants. I think the women got the better of the deal. Either way, if they serve mint juleps at the party tonight, I'll know they've taken the "green" thing too far.
