Ron Swanson Week, Part 5: Secrets of the Mustache (VIDEO)
by Maureen Ryan, posted Jan 21st 2011 1:15PM
During Ron Swanson Week here at TV Squad, 'Parks and Recreation' star Nick Offerman talked about almost every aspect of his iconic character. We grilled him about what makes Ron great, what kinds of ladies he loves and why women named Tammy give him such trouble. We talked to one of the show's co-creators about the multi-talented character's enduring appeal. Last night, viewers of the 'Parks and Rec' season premiere learned even more about him via the Swanson Pyramid of Greatness (click on the image in this story to see Pyramid at full size).
We've learned so much about the man, the myth, the legend. There was only one subject left to explore.
The mustache.
John Oates teams up with his mustache to battle evil (or something)

I had forgotten about J-Stache. It's been several months since we first heard about it. But now FunnyorDie.com has the trailer for the web show. It's about Hall & Oates' John Oates and his mustache (yes, you heard me right). They team up to battle evil and score chicks. It's all done like a 70s cartoon. I think the part that had me laughing out loud in this trailer below is when Geraldo Rivera shows up.

Is Grant Show ditching Swingtown for Private Practice?
by Kona Gallagher, posted Aug 6th 2008 12:20PM
First he shaves the porn 'stache and now Grant Show has signed up to guest star on Private Practice. Is there something Show isn't telling us about the fate of Swingtown? Well, hopefully not. Despite the fact that Swingtown's rapidly disappearing audience does not bode well for the fate of the series, Show's extracurriculars don't mean that anything is definite. As of now, Show is only signed on to appear in one episode of Private Practice early on in the season. He plays a flirtatious doctor who has ties to a series regular's past.
I've recently become a big fan on Swingtown, so even though the odds are against it, I'm really pulling for its return. However, if it doesn't work out, I definitely wouldn't mind him coming to Private Practice on a more regular basis. For me, that show's first season was super weak and quite frankly, it could use all the help it can get. Grant Show wouldn't even have to grow the mustache back--although it would be pretty awesome if he did.
