by Bob Sassone, posted Feb 26th 2008 2:23PM

MyNetwork may drop the telenovela thing

by Anna Johns, posted Dec 18th 2006 8:32AM
morgan fairchild; bo derek; fashion houseAccording to The Hollywood Reporter, MyNetwork is considering scrapping its current all-telenovela programming. The network is a Fox creation to keep WB/UPN affiliates alive after the networks merged to create The CW. MyNetwork debuted in September and it airs thirteen hours of dramas, five days a week, with recaps on Saturdays. The first two telenovelas on MyNetwork are Fashion House, starring the very plastic Bo Derek and the equally plastic Morgan Fairchild, and Desire, which each averaged a measly .7 rating in their first thirteen weeks on the air. New drama Wicked Wicked Games, starring Tatum O'Neal, and others have rated poorer than that since they debuted earlier this month.
