New Stunt, Prank Shows Coming to MTV
by Bob Sassone, posted Feb 10th 2010 1:02PM

We heard yesterday that MTV is finally getting rid of the "music television" in their logo, because obviously it was just getting in the way of all of the other stuff. So what types of shows can we look forward to coming up on the network? More stunts and reality of course, according to Variety. One is 'Dudesons in America,' which will feature four guys from Finland who do wacky stunts and pranks. Yes, this is MTV and this involves probably pain to the participants, so Johnny Knoxville is one of the show's producers. (Side note: "Dudesons" is a fantastic name, isn't it?) An earlier 'Dudesons' series ran on Spike a few years ago.
The other show is 'MTV's Parkour Challenge,' which will feature talented athletes competing against each other in "urban sports': running up walls and in and out of buildings and jumping and what not.
Most audiences will know parkour from the opening scene of the James Bond movie 'Casino Royale,' where Bond chased the guy through the construction site.
Cindy Margolis is looking for love in Seducing Cindy

Here's the first episode of the new FOX Reality Channel show Seducing Cindy (it debuts tomorrow night but Inside TV has an exclusive sneak peek). Margolis was the #1 girl on the web several years ago, and this new reality show will have a couple dozen guys vying for her affection.
I love how she's looking for someone between the ages of 18 and 71 (why 71 and not 70 or 75?). So you could be Taylor Lautner or you could be Patrick Stewart and have an equal chance!

Get ready for more reality shows

What would you say if I told you that there were going to be 33 new reality shows debuting this year? Would you say that was too much? I certainly would. But it's not true anyway. There aren't 33 new reality shows that are going to launch this year.
There are 172.
That's right, according to the people over at the FOX Reality Channel (oh, there's a network that's not on my favorites lineup) there will be 172 new reality shows launched this year: 32 on the broadcast networks and 140 on cable.
