by Bob Sassone, posted Jan 5th 2010 1:15PM
It's a new year, and that means new beginnings for all of us, including The Colbert Report, which got a new set and a new HD look. Last night he said goodbye to the old set and hello to his new one. In these clips you can't see the two objects he has off to the side on his desk.

A quick tour of Conan O'Brien's new set (for real this time)
by Bob Sassone, posted May 26th 2009 5:17PM
NBC has a fake tour of the new Tonight Show set up on the show's site (it features Conan, Andy, and Max doing the show in a giant warehouse with just a school desk and a bucket to bang on), but Access Hollywood's Maria Menounos got a real tour of the set from Conan himself. Spoiler warning: it features a desk, a mug, a couch, and curtains! (Video is also here.)
Conan takes over next Monday.

Here's a (second) first look at Conan's Tonight Show set
by Bob Sassone, posted May 14th 2009 1:37PM
Last week we showed you the construction that was going on at Conan O'Brien's new Tonight Show studio in L.A. Now here's the finished product. TV Guide says that the set is twice the size of Conan's old studio and has a 25 foot doorway, which is "big enough for anything, including circus animals and Conan's hair." And Donald Trump's ego, when he comes on to promote the next Apprentice.A glimpse at Drew Carey's Price is Right
by Joel Keller, posted Aug 21st 2007 8:00AM

If anyone was curious as to what the Drew Carey-hosted version of The Price is Right is going to look like, here's a taste.
The picture above is of Carey and Rebecca Dobkowitz, daughter of TPiR's longtime producer, Roger Dobkowitz, standing in front of one of the three huge doors on the set. It looks like they're giving the show a bit of a retro-modern look, which seems to fit the nature of the show pretty well.
Where did the picture come from? Facebook, of course! Rebecca put it up on her page, but took it down after it rocketed around the interwebs. Alex Davis of BuzzerBlog posted it a few days ago, generating more details about the revamped set from people who have seen recent tapings. More on that after the jump.
