Hulk Hogan to join his son in jail?
Now, that Nick Hogan is cozied up in a new cell for his prison sentence, his father might be joining him. VH1's Matthew Muro is reporting that Linda Hogan, the Hulkster's estranged wife, wants to send the former pro-wrestler to jail for not paying his portion of a Las Vegas condo, a property worth 4.2 milion dollars. If Linda gets her wishes, Hulk Hogan would be put in Pinellas County Jail in Florida, the very same jail that holds his son. VH1 offers the following as reasons why Hulk has not paid his bills: "Is he short on cash? Probably not. Is he planning to hit the slammer intentionally to protect little Nick? No way. Or could it be that he's trying to cut off Linda's cash flow so that she can't lavish any more gifts on her 19-year-old boy toy? Bingo!!"
Nick Hogan gets prison time
On August 26th, Hulk Hogan's son Nick was terribly injured in a car crash in Florida. Also in the crash was Nick's friend, John Graziano, who was critically injured after the car smashed into the median, flipped over and finally crashed into a palm tree. Later that fall, the wrestling champ's son was charged with reckless driving, having a blood alcohol level of .02 or higher and having tinted windows on his Toyota Supra. On May 9th, after pleading "no contest," Nick Hogan (nee Bollea) was sentenced to eight months in prison. He was also charged with five years probation and one hundred hours community service per year. In addition, Nick must attend a DUI school and is forbidden to drink alcohol for the duration of his probation. Hulk and daughter Brooke begged the judge for leniency but John's family and girlfriend asked for punishment. His mother said, "I'm not seeking revenge. Only justice." John was in a coma after the accident and will probably need lifelong care.
What do you think? Does the punishment fit the crime?
Hulk Hogan's son arrested
This isn't because of a new incident, it's for an old one. Nick Bollea, the 17 year-old son of wrestler/reality show star Hulk Hogan, turned himself in to Florida police earlier today and charged with reckless driving.
The accident Bollea was arrested for occurred on August 26. Bollea was racing his Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper when he lost control and crashed into a palm tree. The family says that Bollea wasn't speeding, though I don't know what their explanation for the accident would be other than "we are confident that the evidence will demonstrate that this was an accident." Bollea was also charged with having tinted windows and having a blood alcohol level of .02 or higher.
Bollea's friend, Nick Graziano, was in the passenger seat, and was critically injured. He remains in a coma.
Hulk Hogan's son seriously injured in car crash
Nick Hogan, whose real name is Nick Bollea, was seriously injured in a car crash in Clearwater, FL. TMZ has pictures of the car here. The car hit the median, flipped over, and then hit a tree. There was another passenger in the car and that man is also in serious condition. Both were flown to the hospital by helicopter.Hogan, 17, is the son of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan and stars with his dad and other family members on the VH-1 reality show Hogan Knows Best, which is currently in its fourth season. There's no word yet on what caused the accident, but police believe the car was traveling at a high rate of speed.
This isn't the first time he has been in an accident. Hogan was driving a sports car that caught fire in Miami last year.
