Nick Jonas, Bernadette Peters Book 'Smash' RolesMonths before the premiere, NBC's 'Smash' has added two big names to its already impressive roster. Broadway-bound Nick Jonas and stage legend Bernadette Peters will guest star on the midseason musical drama.

According to NBC, the actors won't be playing themselves. However, they will be singing in their episodes.

Nick Jonas: Jonas Brothers Not Breaking Up, But Focusing on Solo Projects for Now (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Jun 10th 2011 3:40PM
Nick Jonas on 'The View'Rest easy, America: The Jonas Brothers are not breaking up. This is according to Nick Jonas, a Jonas Brother and also leader of Nick Jonas and the Administration, who was interviewed Friday on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC). The individual Jonases (Joni?) are all working on solo projects right now, like Nick's involvement with a talent competition sponsored by Quaker Chewy. But they have not split permanently.

"No, no, no, no, no," said Jonas, when asked by Sheri Shepherd if the Jonas Brothers were no more. "We're just taking some time to do some individual projects and enjoy kind of that journey that each of us are on. It's exciting, you know, we're all doing different things and kind of taking those experiences and then we'll come back and do something soon."

'Mr. Sunshine' Moment: Ben Gets Demands From a Pop Star ... Who Looks Like Nick Jonas

by Joel Keller, posted Feb 17th 2011 9:00AM
Matthew Perry and Nick Jonas on 'Mr. Sunshine'
The second week of 'Mr. Sunshine' is showing that Matthew Perry's pride and joy of a series still has a ways to go to be funny. Allison Janney is working as loopy arena owner Chrystal, but the rest of the cast isn't gelling as well as they should. At least, Perry and his fellow showrunners have toned down the pilot's zaniness a bit and given Ben a few characteristics that make him at least a little bit human. Oh, and they've also made the arena look less depressing, which helps.

While the setting of an arena means the show is ripe for guest stars, either playing themselves or facimilies of themselves, having two guests in two weeks isn't doing the show any favors. However, I will say that Nick Jonas did a nice job playing an overprivileged teen pop star. Hopefully he's not playing from experience.

Nick Jonas Talks 'Mr. Sunshine,' Favorite Twitter Pals & Wanting to Be on 'Glee'

by Maggie Furlong, posted Feb 15th 2011 12:30PM
Nick Jonas on 'Mr. Sunshine'Matthew Perry is no dummy. After over three decades in this business -- 10 years of that on 'Friends,' one of the most popular shows in TV history -- 'Mr. Sunshine''s leading man is pulling out all the stops to make his new show a success (Wednesdays, 9:30PM ET on ABC).

This week's big draw? Guest star Nick Jonas as Eli Cutler, a teen rock star playing at the Sunshine Center who is moody, demanding and hell-bent on making Perry's Ben Donovan miserable.

I caught up with Jonas, who is genuinely funny in this episode and shows off some serious acting chops, to talk about his inspiration for Eli and his own celebrity demands. He also dished about his favorite TV shows, wanting to be on 'Glee' and the most random people he follows on Twitter.

The Jonas Brothers & Demi Lovato Talk 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Aug 23rd 2010 9:30PM
The Jonas Brothers! And Demi Lovato! (Shhh ... if you're quiet, you can hear the wild screams of tween fans around the world.)

'Camp Rock' was such a sensational hit for the Disney Channel, they smartly decided to get the gang back together for 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' (premieres Fri., Sept. 3, 8PM ET). But something's standing in the way of Mitchie and the boys having a rockin' summer: rival Camp Star across the lake. The whole thing ends in a musical battle to end all battles, deciding which is the better camp.

I caught up with Nick, Joe, Kevin and Demi to hear all about the sequel, some new characters and some that've grown up since the first film and if there are more 'Camp Rock' movies in their future.

Insulting the Stars on 'I Get That a Lot' (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted May 19th 2010 11:00PM
Insulting the Stars on 'I Get That a Lot''I Get That a Lot' (Wed., 8PM ET on CBS) is a reality show where celebrities take regular, working-class jobs. Eventually, the stars are recognized, but then they deny being who they really are. For example, Martha Stewart will refuse to admit to being Martha Stewart, even when she is told that she looks just like her. The inevitable response from the stars on the show is -- you guessed it -- "I get that a lot."

On the most recent episode, one of the stars gets into trouble while meeting someone who isn't actually a fan of his. The bad thing happens to Nick Jonas -- who gets exposed as looking just like Nick Jonas while working undercover in a clothing store.

Unfortunately, the woman who sees him isn't that positive about the whole Jonas Brothers experience. "They're terrible," she says to Nick. "Musically, they're awful." Nick handles the whole thing pretty well, all things considered.

Kevin Jonas on 'Minute to Win It' (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted May 12th 2010 11:15PM
Kevin Jonas on 'Minute to Win It'Pop singer Kevin Jonas appeared on the game show 'Minute to Win It' (Wed., 8PM ET on NBC). The singer apparently loves the series, and wanted to be a guest on it. He was attempting to win up to $1 million for his favorite charity, Change for the Children.

In-between preforming the show's ridiculous tasks -- such as blowing a deck of cards off a bottle and moving eggs across the floor using only a pizza box -- Jonas took time out to respond to his adoring fans in the audience. He signed the aforementioned pizza box and presented it to a young girl, while the crowd exploded into cheers. "We'll be back to our [regularly] scheduled program," said host Guy Fieri, but that still failed to stop the screaming from Jonas's fans.

Jimmy Kimmel Makes Nick Jonas Uncomfortable on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Feb 4th 2010 2:30PM
Jimmy Kimmel made Nick Jonas noticeably uncomfortable during an interview on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12:05AM ET on ABC), joking that his solo album spells an inevitable breakup of the Jonas Brothers, and questioning the state of Kevin Jonas' virginity now that he's married long-time girlfriend Danielle Deleasa.

Jonas said that his solo album, 'Who I Am,' came about because he'd written a batch of songs that didn't fit stylistically with the Jonas Brothers.

Saturday Night Live: Alec Baldwin/The Jonas Brothers - VIDEOS

by Annie Wu, posted Feb 15th 2009 2:29PM
Jonas Brothers
(S34E16) It was pretty obvious there was going to be at least two sketches with the Jonas Brothers. I called it! I mean, no one apart from the people in my apartment know I called it, but that doesn't change the facts or my sad sense of accomplishment. I had to tune out once they started singing (sorry, 15 year-old girls), but their skits were all right. Alec Baldwin did a fine job of hosting as well, though there weren't any particularly striking sketches. I suppose after doing something like "Schwetty Balls", just about everything else will pale in comparison.
