Jimmy Fallon wants to join Deena and Snooki on Team Meatballs. "You need to audition first," she told him on 'Late Night' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC). "[And] you need to cut your legs off because you're too tall." Jimmy suggested a "Meatball Idol" for others interested in joining. Snooki loved the idea.

The host then asked if she was excited about filming season four of 'Jersey Shore' in Italy. "I always wanted to go to Chile, because that's where I was born, but Italy, you know, that's awesome because that's like my family." This utterly confused him. Snooki explained that she ("The Ultimate Guidette") was in fact adopted by an Italian-American family.

Vinny Guadagnino may have brought his mom to 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated) in hopes that her presence (on the front row) would save him from any incriminating and/or embarrassing topics. He's on 'Jersey Shore' -- clearly that ship has sailed. Wendy Williams seemed to agree, asking him pointedly about "smooshing" with fellow cast mate Snooki.

He said they "sort of" smooshed. Williams clarified, "Well, you did enough where she complimented your manhood ... She said it's like putting a watermelon through a pinhole."

Does Snooki have a drinking problem? David Letterman boldly asked the diminutive 'Jersey Shore' party animal when she appeared on 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS). "Do you think, uh, um, maybe you need to abstain?" She replied, "I definitely don't think I have a problem. I mean, when we're not filming I hardly go out. I hardly drink. It's just, you know, it's summer."

Letterman divulged that friends used to send him Alcoholics Anonymous brochures listing seven signs that one may have a problem. "Number one was always, 'Do you drink in the morning?'" he told her.

Snooki then contradicted herself. "I'm not like that all the time ... [I'd] rather stay in and watch movies at night than go to a frickin' club." So why does she go clubbing? "Well, you're at the Shore -- obviously you wanta go out." Obviously.

Anyone planning to ring in the new year in Times Square this year will have two countdowns to keep an eye on. In addition to the traditional ball drop, MTV will host one of its own -- with a twist. 'Jersey Shore' star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi will be holed up inside the ball, the AP reports.

Yep, you read that right -- Snooki will drop inside a ball on MTV's New Year's Eve special.

'Jersey Shore's' Snooki is everywhere these days, so why not have her on top of a cake as well? It seems that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi failed to remember Mother's Day. So she tried to apologize to her mom on the new 'Cake Boss' (Mon., 9PM ET on TLC).

The 'Cake Boss' shop is located in Hoboken, New Jersey -- not the shore. Still, maybe the fellow "Garden State" residents could solve the family drama.

Buddy Valastro and his team tried to make Snooki happy -- which included letting the reality star flirt with Buddy's cousin Anthony. Upon meeting Anthony, Snooki found the young man to be severely untanned. She suggested that he needed a heavy dose of "GTL" -- that's "gym, tan and laundry" for you 'Jersey Shore' newbies.

'South Park' is never shy about taking on controversial topics. So it makes sense that the show would tackle the most divisive cultural issue of them all. We are referring, of course, to 'Jersey Shore.'

The "guido"-based reality series separates viewers into two opposing camps. People either love 'Jersey Shore' or they hate it. And 'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone made their feelings about the 'Shore' very, very clear.

Some people really do like 'Jersey Shore.' (We'll confess to kind of liking it ourselves.) On the other hand, some people really really hate the guido-and-guidette-based show. But even if you are a secret fan of the series, you may be hesitant about admitting this fact in polite society. Liking the 'Shore' is vaguely shameful -- it's considered akin to having bad cultural taste, like admitting that you're a big fan of "Hamburger Helper," fake rhinestones, or Bedazzling.

But luckily, actress Kristen Bell doesn't suffer from any major social inhibitions. And so, on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), she gleefully confesses to being a 'Jersey Shore' "super-fan." "I'm wildly obsessed with the show," Bell gushes. She's seen every episode, and even admits to watching them twice.

Although we think of David Letterman as being fairly "young at heart," we must admit that he's something of an elder statesman -- at least where talk show stars are concerned. Dave began his late night hosting career in 1982 -- long before the advent of, say, "Twitter," or even "The Internet."

And so it seems somewhat unfair that he has to grapple with the very recent concept of "Snooki," and then figure out what the phrase "GTL" means. But that's what happens on the new 'Late Show' (11:35PM ET on CBS).

Several of the self-professed "Guidos" of MTV's 'Jersey Shore' stopped by 'Chelsea Lately' to discuss their televised summer in New Jersey's resort community of Seaside Heights.

First, host Chelsea Handler complimented Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi on her figure, then grilled her on the much-publicized bar fight in which she was punched in the face by a drunken Queens gym teacher.

A trio of girls arrives at the 'Jersey Shore' house and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi tells several of them to leave, sparking a full-blown fight in which Snooki is struck and an arrest is made.

Only one of the three girls had been formally invited to the house; the others had been deemed too unattractive to party by Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. Snooki was in the process of booting several girls when a fight broke out and she was struck in the face again.

During the "10 @ 10" Q&A segment on last night's 'The Jay Leno Show,' Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, genius and cast member of MTV's 'Jersey Shore,' revealed that she doesn't like to read, but, on the rare occasion when she does crack open a book, prefers those with pretty illustrations.

Polizzi revealed this and other shockers, such as her lack of understanding that pickles are made from cucumbers, how her bronzer and eyeliner rank among her most prized possessions, and how she would change the world by putting a tanning bed in each home and forbidding the use of the Bumpit hair insert.

'Dancing With the Stars' hostess Samantha Harris is speaking out against MTV's cultish reality hit 'Jersey Shore' -- and specifically a scene in which a 21-year-old female cast member is punched by a 24-year-old man while drinking at a bar.

"I have to not necessarily applaud MTV, but say I finally think they made the right choice by pulling the episode where the guy punches the girl in the face," Harris told Inside TV at Tuesday's JCPenney "Joy of Giving" party in West Hollywood.

Thursday's episode of 'Jersey Shore,' in which Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is punched by a gym teacher, who is charged with assault, was pulled by MTV this week.<
