On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Ellen DeGeneres explained that while at her farm, which she visits to escape the "mean streets of Beverly Hills," she recently noticed a movie filming just down the road.During a visit to the set, DeGeneres met one of the stars of the upcoming film, a rather hairy actress who's appeared in 'The Hangover 2,' and both 'Night at the Museum' movies among others.

Don't miss Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller in two of this week's must-see flicks ...Tom Cruise leads the way in Steven Spielberg's underrated sci-fi adventure flick 'Minority Report,' airing today on TV.
The film features a number of Spielberg's signature touches, including an out-of-this-world story to go along with the movie's A-level visual effects.
Also airing this week: A stunning debut performance by Whoopi Goldberg, along with a fun night at the museum with funnyman Ben Stiller.
See more of this week's flick picks after the jump.

The folks at our sister site Cinematical are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:- Mark Ruffalo and Adrian Brody? Yes, please. Read the review of their new movie, The Brothers Bloom, on Cinematical.
- I never saw the original Night at the Museum, but I heard from someone who attended the premiere that the sequel had several actual laugh-out-loud moments. Plus, it takes place at the Smithsonian, and as someone who grew up in the D.C. area, that's kind of cool. Anyway, if you're on the fence about seeing it, check out the trailer here.
- Kevin Smith and Mitch Albom? Now that's a pairing I never thought I would see. But Kevin Smith doing a hockey movie? If you listen to Smodcast and have heard him get moved to tears talking about Wayne Gretsky, then that's not a shock at all.
- They mentioned The Royal Tenenbaums, so this list is okay by me: Cinematical Seven - Favorite Con Men (and Ladies).
- You guys, I love Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. And Die Hard? Come on. The summer of '88 was a good time to go to the movies.

Luton First recently surveyed a couple thousand ten year-olds to find out what they considered to be the best things in the world. God took the tenth spot, surprisingly enough. However, He topped the list of most famous people. I don't think I've ever heard God called "the Paris Hilton of deities" before... That's... one way to put it, I guess."More is Hell": Bush has been getting snippy. Jeez. That's no way to behave if you want to send more men to Iraq. And the president suddenly doesn't seem so quick to answer that we're winning in Iraq, anymore. And what's up with Tony Snow's sudden interest in grammar? Gerunds... Hm.
