'Tis the season for regretting old hairdos. 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) airs footage of Justin Timberlake and *NSYNC that hasn't been seen since 1998. In it, a young Timberlake sports a carefully-sculpted, tightly-curled mane.

So You Think You Can Dance: Atlanta Auditions

So You Think You Can Dance(S03E03) With one last stop in Atlanta, the audition tour for season three comes to an end. I think that's a good thing. The audition episodes aren't terrible or anything, but the sooner the show can get down to the serious competition, the better. That is where So You Think You Can Dance really shines.

Nigel and Mary were once again joined by Shane Sparks to take a look at what the South had to offer. All things considered, Dixie did pretty well for itself. There were a lot of good dancers, and a few not so good, but it all made for an entertaining night. The one thing that I thought stood out as being odd was the lack of contestants being put straight through to Vegas. It's probably more a quirk of how they decided to edit this episode than anything else. But it did seem like there were a lot more contestants that got the immediate yes in the other cities.

Saturday Night Live: Justin Timberlake - VIDEOS

Justin Timberlake(S32E09) Justin Timberlake's first hosting gig was absolutely fantastic, so I had high expectations for this episode. Although it wasn't as funny as his first time, I was still very pleased with the result. Actually, Timberlake was better than most "proper actor" hosts. I have a feeling that he'll be returning to host many more times in the future. The man's already established a few recurring characters and I can see him becoming an SNL favorite. Look out, Alec Baldwin, JT's on his way.

I was kind of surprised that there was no sketch, let alone mention, of the crazy overuse of the phrase "I'm bringing sexy back" and every imaginable variation of it. Heck, Timberlake didn't even perform it. Perhaps it was for the best, because I know "SexyBack" would have been stuck in my head for another ten weeks or so.

VH1 greenlights six new reality series

by Julia Ward, posted Nov 1st 2006 11:57AM
VH1VH1 has given the greenlight to a slate of new primetime reality series featuring music celebrities. Of course, some of those celebrities are more famous than others.

While most of the shows promise the same car accident, "can't help but stare" cringe-worthiness of the unfortunate Surreal Life, at least one or two of the promised series sound vaguely entertaining.

Here are the six titles in development:

The Daily Show: July 26, 2006

The Daily ShowOkay, so Condoleezza Rice went to Rome for a meeting about the Lebanon situation. It didn't go so well. Jon showed a Condimeter graphic to illustrate just how bad it was (TDS has been really graphic-happy lately). Of course, the meeting wasn't as great as "Three days alone at Camp David with the President" or "Christmas morning"... It ended up somewhere between "Kofi Annan cops a feel" and "Bin Laden determined to attack WHERE?!". I have a feeling I may have switched up a few of those details, so apologies ahead of time. I swear TDS knows I'm scrambling to type this all down. They probably have a hidden camera on my monitor, broadcasting live right into Jon's office so that they can giggle at my panic.
