(S05E08) Being a fan of The Office is kind of like dating Scarlett Johansson (which I can comment on because I have the WOPR running continuous simulations of me and Scarlett Johansson dating; incidentally, every scenario seems to end in global thermonuclear war). You get spoiled. Whenever she comes to bed wearing something insanely sexy, you think, "Well, of course she's wearing Princess Leia's gold bikini, she's Scarlett Johansson!"

The one time she shows up in sweatpants and one of your t-shirts, however, you don't know what to do. She's entitled to be comfortable, and, after all, lots of girls wear sweatpants to bed, but it doesn't seem right. Scarlett Johansson doesn't wear sweatpants.

Tonight's episode felt like sweatpants. It was ordinary. It was a sitcom episode. And, worse than that, it was an unlikeable episode.

If you were a fan of the UPN series One on One and bummed it didn't make the transition to The CW, here's a bit of good news for you. Starting on October 27, teen network The N will begin airing reruns of the defunct UPN series which focused on Breanna Barnes (Kyla Pratt), who lives with her father after her parents divorce. The series will premiere on The N as part of the "Fresh One Weekend," which will also include episodes of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Twelve One on One episodes will air back to back starting at 6 pm. The series will then fall into its regular timeslot Monday through Thursday with two back to back episodes airing at 7 and 11 pm starting on October 30.

The CW (formerly known as UPN and The WB, its official logo to the right) officially announces its 2006-07 prime-time schedule today, though there was a preview given last night. Some favorites from both old networks have made the cut, while there are some fans of old shows who will likely feel disappointed. The changes in brief:

Moving: Everbody Hates Chris (to Sundays at 8); All Of Me (to Sundays); Girlfriends (to Sundays); The Game (Sundays); One Tree Hill (Wednesdays at 9).
