Kathryn Hahn Joins 'Parks and Recreation' (Just Like AOL TV Suggested)
by Chris Harnick, posted Nov 28th 2011 3:35PM
Former 'Free Agents' star Kathryn Hahn will appear on NBC's 'Parks and Recreation' ... just like AOL TV suggested.According to TVLine, Hahn will appear in multiple episodes of 'Parks and Rec' as a member of Leslie's opponent's political team. 'Parks' executive producer Mike Schur took to Twitter to correct the casting misinformation.
"Small point of clarity: Katherine Hahn is doing an arc on #ParksandRec, but she is *not* Leslie's opponent. We're thrilled to have her!" [sic]
'Parks and Recreation': Watch April and Andy's Road Trip Web Series Here
by Chris Harnick, posted Nov 4th 2011 12:00PM
'Parks and Recreation' is hitting the road for a new web series, and you're coming along!Below, you can watch all four episodes of Andy (Chris Pratt) and April's (Aubrey Plaza) road trip to the Grand Canyon.
The first episode deals with April's fear of spiders, or as Andy calls it, "that arachno-cornocopia thing." The second installment sends the duo to the "Four Corners." When you watch, you'll see why that's in quotes. In episode 3, Leslie Knope calls and in episode 4 Andy and April discuss building a home ... next door to the Grand Canyon.

Not a hoax! Not a dream! NBC is giving us more 'Parks and Recreation'!Our favorite Pawnee lovebirds, Andy (Chris Pratt) and April (Aubrey Plaza), will star in their very own series of webisodes.
According to EW, NBC.com will debut five webisodes of the comedy after the Thurs., Nov. 3 airing of the hit comedy. The webisodes spin out from the 'End of the World' episode and follow Andy and April as they embark on a road trip.
Aziz Ansari Will Host 2010 'MTV Movie Awards'
by Danny Gallagher, posted Mar 22nd 2010 7:04PM
One of TV's rising stars is about to get a little bit higher (not that way, Cheech). 'Parks & Recreation' star and comedian Aziz Ansari will host the next 'MTV Movie Awards' broadcast, which will air live on June 6 from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif.
Some say it's the right choice at the right time since his comedy star is hotter than ever thanks to his primetime appearances and the buzz he has earned from his latest comedy special. I like to think it's MTV's way of apologizing for giving 'Human Giant' the run-around.
Aziz Ansari: The ODB of 'Parks and Recreation'
by Joel Keller, posted Feb 24th 2010 7:02PM
Aziz Ansari has had the kind of career you'd expect to see from a guy who's 35 or so, not from someone who's only four years out of business school. The 26-year-old comedian's profile has risen quickly over the last couple of years. From being an up-and-coming stand-up star playing the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York, the last three years have seen him do two seasons of MTV's 'Human Giant,' a half-season as lazy intern Ed on the eighth season of 'Scrubs,' a big role as awful stand-up comic Randy in Judd Apatow's 'Funny People,' a one-hour stand-up special on Comedy Central, and a season and a half as Tom Haverford on 'Parks and Recreation.'
I caught up with Ansari at NBC's all-star press party last month and asked him about how his character, who plays the scheming right-hand man of the earnest Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), has developed since the show started, and what's next for a guy who's done a lot in such a short period of time.
