by Chris Harnick, posted Oct 10th 2011 1:30PM
Patricia Clarkson shown great range on TV, portraying everything from a calculating gold-digger on 'Parks and Recreation' to a rebellious artist on 'Six Feet Under.' Now, Clarkson is tackling a new role -- that of breast-cancer survivor -- on Lifetime's 'Five.'In 'Five' (Oct. 10, 9PM ET on Lifetime), Clarkson plays Mia, a woman whose whole life is turned upside down by disease. Her story is told backwards, a stylistic choice that shows just how much cancer has changed her life.
"Look at that part, I mean it's crazy," Clarkson said. "It's amazing. It's so beautifully written. It required everything of me."
Clarkson's short film was directed by Jennifer Aniston and is just one of five films with all-star directors. Demi Moore, Alicia Keys, Patty Jenkins and Penelope Spheeris direct the other four parts, each film focuses on a woman affected by breast cancer.
In honor of 'Five' and its five-part structure, AOL TV presents a quintet of key facts about this unique project:

Patricia Clarkson took Pawnee by storm as Tammy 1, Ron Swanson's first ex-wife named Tammy, in the first two episodes of 'Parks and Recreation' Season 4.After that extended cameo, Clarkson told AOL TV, many viewers expected her to become permanent part of the cast. Sadly, that's not true.
"It's funny, I think people think I'm going to be a regular on the show," Clarkson said. "I'm not. That's really it."
Is it really, Patricia?
"I might come back at the very end or something, I'm not sure." The end of the series or the end of the season? "Of the season," she said. "Maybe."

Patricia Clarkson is Tammy 1 on 'Parks and Recreation'
by Chris Harnick, posted Jul 28th 2011 4:45PM
Ladies and gentleman, 'Parks and Recreation' has found its Tammy 1. She's not Oprah, but Patricia Clarkson is pretty awesome in her own right.According to TVLine, the Oscar nominee will play Tammy 1, Ron Swanson's first ex-wife by the name of Tammy. Nick Offerman's real-life wife, Megan Mullally, plays Tammy 2.
"We talked about pretty much every possible iteration of who she is and what her backstory is and all we knew is that we didn't want to do the same thing we did with Tammy 2," Mike Schur, 'Parks and Recreation,' executive producer said told TV Guide. "Tammy 1 is her own specific brand of demon. I think we came up with backstory for her that's both funny and illuminating and also answers all of the questions that you would have when seeing people's reactions to her presence in the finale."
'SNL Digital Short': '3-Way' With Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and Andy Samberg (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted May 23rd 2011 4:14AM
When Justin Timberlake was announced as the host for the season finale of 'Saturday Night Live' (Sat., 11:30PM ET on NBC), we suspected there was a chance for a recurrence of the characters he and Andy Samberg made famous across two 'Digital Shorts.'What we didn't expect was that not only would they be joined by their recent lovers from the 'Motherlover' short, Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson, but that musical guest Lady Gaga would join them in the song and the gag.
The new premise finds our favorite out-of-fashion mack daddies leaving their motherlovers behind to foray into the next frontier in lovemaking. "3-Way (The Golden Rule)" followed they boys on a sexual adventure with Gaga and one another -- It's okay, because it's not gay when it's a three-way.
Saturday Night Live: Justin Timberlake/Ciara

(S34E22) Justin Timberlake returned for his third turn as host and it was tough not to keep expectations pretty high. I mean, if an vengeful warlock were to suddenly put a crippling curse on his music career (like they do), Timberlake could definitely fall back on being a professional SNL host. Yes, this would become a real profession, just for him.
As usual, some sketches fell a bit flat, but Timberlake's over-confident, hammy swagger made things a little more interesting. This particular episode also gave us another legendary musical Digital Short with Timberlake and Andy Samberg and a couple of all-around MILFs. It's tough to top a surprise appearance by Leonard effin' Nimoy, but "Motherlover" was certainly the highlight of the evening. Here are some other notable video moments!
