When Bravo's 'Top Chef: Texas' debuts on Wed., Nov. 2 at 10PM ET, there will be 29 contestants. Twenty-nine.

However, by the end of the premiere, only 16 will get to put on the 'Top Chef' coat and compete as official cheftestants. The 16 official contestants will then compete across the state of Texas in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio.

"I'm so excited for everyone at home to get a glimpse of all the great and talented chefs," 'Top Chef' host Padma Lakshmi said in a statement. "This season is bigger and better than ever! Yum!"

Anton Kukal has faced knights and sword fights in his fantasy role playing business, Mystic Realms. He has faced his wife, Bobbi, over the fact that the business never makes any money. But until they appeared on 'The Marriage Ref' (Sundays, 10PM on NBC), he had never had to face off against an angry Patti LaBelle.

Hobbies/businesses that don't turn a profit are a common cause of dispute on the show, but this one was unusual. When Bobbi met her future husband Anton, he was in law school, and Mystic Realms was a side business. Eventually, it became his main business, which didn't make Bobbi happy. LaBelle wasn't impressed, either. "This man is pitiful," said Labelle. "She needs to kick his ass."

Patti Labelle appeared on 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated) and talked about the perks of being Mariah Carey's godmother. According to Labelle, Carey regularly sends her pricey champagne and flowers, and the two often party together in the Bahamas.

"She sends me four bottles of Cristal ... and she sends me beautiful white flowers, like 100 or 200 flowers," Labelle said. "It's just beautiful."
