Davidson on a Dime

by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 20th 2006 11:39AM
Design on a DimeYou've read on TV Squad all about writer Paul Davidson's run-ins with celebrities in Los Angeles. And today you'll be able to watch him on television.

Davidson will appear on HGTV's Design on a Dime today at 3pm (Eastern). Paul and his wife Jennifer had one of their rooms made into a "Stylish Home Office," and you can see the results on today's show. If you miss it today, the episode will be repeated on May 27 at 10:30pm and May 28 at 2:30am.

I think now that Davidson is going to be on TV, he's going to become a celebrity himself, and we'll be able to photograph him at the supermarket and gawk at him at trendy restaurants.

Davidson went to see Thank You For Smoking the other night and found himself in line at the concession stand, right behind...Matthew Perry! When Perry ordered just a diet Coke and nothing else, Davidson took it upon himself to explain a few things about how the body works.

Famed investigative journalist Paul Davidson dives into a possibly meaty story here: did Law and Order make a subtle change to the font on their title?

In all fairness to Law and Order Executive Producer Dick Wolf, Davidson isn't sure if it's really a new font or if, um, the TV signal is different or the high-def or something.

I haven't watched the show that much in the past two years, so I haven't noticed anything. Readers?
