Reality TV is a breeding ground for crazy, entertaining people doing insane watercooler-worthy things, but who do we consider the best of the best, the most entertaining of the entertaining? It's not easy to narrow down a list to 11 of the most entertaining reality TV stars -- because of sheer volume these days, but also fear of retaliation from the tougher personalities who didn't make the cut. Some of those 'Housewives' are brutal, y'all.
But we did it. And we think we got it right. Take a look at our picks for Most Entertaining Reality TV Stars of 2011 -- along with our video playlist of proof, in case you need more convincing -- and nominate your own favorites in the comments.
Atlanta 'Housewives': Phaedra, Kim Argue Over Phaedra's Shady Due-Date (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Dec 20th 2010 5:55AM
The ladies of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' (Sun, 10PM ET on BRAVO) gathered for a relaxing spa trip. But, of course, that turned into a verbal smackdown.Phaedra Parks berated Kim Zolciak for gossiping about the fuzzy math surrounding Phaedra's baby due-date. "You don't have to be chatting about what's going on with me ... I don't run around talking about, you know, Big Poppa's in foreclosure, because that's none of my business," said Phaedra.
Kim countered, "I don't talk about your husband being a convict." Phaedra interpreted the heated banter as a win in her favor. "Miss Kim seems to be backing down because she knew I was a crazy black woman," she said.
OK then, who's ready to relax?
Phaedra's Due-Date Lies Are Exposed on Atlanta 'Housewives' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Nov 22nd 2010 7:30AM
On 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' (Sun., 10PM ET on BRAVO), Phaedra is very pregnant but doesn't know her due date. She's been going to a shady doctor and has "just not kept up with stuff like that," she tells Kandi. Maybe the real reason she doesn't know (or won't admit) something so basic is related to her mother, sitting nearby. Phaedra says, "In my family, you can't have [a baby] unless you married." Her mother nods: "That's momma's rules."
A legit doctor comes in and announces that she's 40 weeks along, i.e., ready to pop. "The doctors I was seeing, well, they just have different theories than you," Phaedra tells him. "This is not a theory," he says. Nor is this something that can be delayed or denied any longer.
