PopEater's Rob Shuter Discusses Lohan, Gosselin, and More (VIDEO)

by AOL TV Staff, posted Jul 28th 2010 3:47PM
Rob ShuterRob Shuter of our own sister blog PopEater sat down to talk gossip on 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, check local listings). He's British?!?

Anyway, Rob gives the scoop on a couple of stories, including the fact that a certain reality show star who was on 'Dancing with the Stars' has not been invited to a big reunion dinner that people from the ABC celebrity dance show are putting on, including Tony, who was this certain reality show star's partner on the show. Maybe they think she's going to be too busy with all of her kids and wouldn't be able to attend anyway or...they just don't want her there.

He also has the scoop on Lindsay Lohan's release from jail and it's coming up a lot sooner than any of us anticipated.

Will NBC put Jerry Seinfeld behind Conan O'Brien's desk?

by Danny Gallagher, posted Dec 18th 2009 9:02AM
Conan O'Brien, Jerry SeinfeldNBC has made a lot of boneheaded moves when it comes to late night, some that have even the thickest of skulls still scratching their heads over. But this rumor, if indeed true, would have those people scratching so hard, they might actually strike brain.

Some anonymous executive sources have said the network is thinking about dumping Conan O'Brien and putting Jerry Seinfeld in The Tonight Show's host chair.

The anonymous source (whom I always imagine as Hal Holbrook) told PopEater's Rob Shuter that Conan's viewership has dropped a whopping 52 percent and that replacing him with the comedian is one option that's being kicked around the NBC offices.

Take it as a rumor, but is this idea a good one?

Note to The Next Mrs. Bonaduce: Don't do it!

by Jane Boursaw, posted Nov 6th 2008 1:14PM
Danny Bonaduce in The Jerk TheoryYou'd think that celebrity couples would start getting the picture after a while. Don't do a reality show! It's just the death knell of any marriage, and I think you can probably name a few obituaries in that category: Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, Hulk and Linda Hogan, and Danny and Gretchen Bonaduce, to name a few.

PopEater is reporting that the Bonaduce's divorce is a done deal, and he has to shell out $16K a month in spousal and child support. Guess how he's going to earn the cash -- a dating reality show called The Next Mrs. Bonaduce!

Now, what girl in her right mind would participate in such a fiasco? I mean, I have to admit that I watched his show, Breaking Bonaduce, a few times, and was weirdly transfixed to his train wreck of a life.
